does anybody know if it's allowed to sell their characters on FR for only USD?

i've noticed a few people doing that recently.
i know it's fine if you sell them for gems etc.. but if they don't accept accept any ingame currency it has nothing to do with FR anymore, or am i wrong?

Anyone have any tips/guides for starting a hatchery? I would like to start one eventually (once I get some pretty breeding pairs), but for now, I'm a bit lost as to how to start one.

I don't have a hatchery of my own, however I know hatcheries that have breeding pairs with matching colours, genes and eye colours do quite well. Especially if they are uncommon colours. (I see a lot of Abyss XXYs as well as triple Radioactives, whites and obsidians are fairly common)
