Murderers in Riverclan V.3 [welcome back!]

xxxpigeonpaw's eyes widened, her blood chilling, entire body feeling limp when her denmate mentioned it was her mentor's body she had found. her breath physically hitched in her throat as her eyes darted over the grass in front of her, but after a few seconds of dry breathing, she glanced back at onyxpaw, slightly taken aback as she realised that firefeather, jadestar and breamkit had quickly gathered around them.

xxx"h-hollowtree-" she choked, tensing her shoulders a little as she slowly shook her head in disbelief, eyes beginning to gloss over. her mentor, the one cat that had seen her through a large portion of her life, the one cat she felt like she could really open up to, was gone. "n-not lavenderscent, j-jadestar, she's- i think she's okay- b-but hollowtree- i- we- we have to get his body back-"

onyxpaw nodded her head before turning to firefeather and whispering "h-hollowtree is dead, somebody murdered him". her breath caught in her throat, before she whimpered and turned to pidgeonpaw saying "i agree, we need to get his body back now." her long tail curled up as she stood still, her ears twitching.

Jadestars jaw dropped in disbelief. She laid her tail on breamkit, the kit was probably exhausted. "Where was he at??" She nudged the kit towards her den. Where ever he was, he didn't need to be even sadder from his father being killed too. At least her deputy and breamkit were okay.

FireFeather was surprised to hear HollowTree had passed. He was always such a good, cautious warrior! The den would suddenly be colder- no one but himself and the deputy.
“How did he die?” FireFeather didn’t exactly want to hear the answer to that question, but it was one that demanded an answer.

oynxpaw whimpered gently before saying "he was at the thunderpath". her tail was dragging a little as she said "i'll go talk to beamkit." she slowly walked into the leaders den, and once she spotted beamkit she softly said "hi beamkit. are you alright?"

"Was he.. Hit??" Jadestars ears rotated, following onyxpaw as they went into her den. If he was, there probably wouldn't be very much left to bring back to camp...

she nodded before saying "but i dont think it was a accident. i could smell another cat, but i couldn't make out who." she frowned before looking back at beamkit.

Breamkit gasped, his jaws chattering at the words of his clanmates. "H-hollow...tree..?" His voice was feeble and shaky. "No! NO!" The siamese took a few steps back from Jadestar, shaking his head in disbelief. He may not have known his father well, but the tom was an important figure of what a warrior should be to Breamkit. "This is all your fault! Momma's dead and because you didn't punish Firefeather, now Da's dead, too!" His jaws gaped in a drawn-out wail as he turned and raced away into Jadestar's den, tears squeezing from his eyes.

He paused towards the back of the den, sitting facing away from the entrance as sobs racked his body. When Onyxpaw entered the den, the tomkit turned his head slightly, eyeing her sideways. Breamkit's breathing was heavy, almost hyperventilating. Her words did little to help. "Go away!" He screamed, his ears pinned tightly against his head. "Leave me alone! This is all your fault!" Breamkit repeated his words from the clearing.

oynxpaw gently placed her tail on his back, her eyes shining with sadness as she frowned before whispering to him "if it helps, i also believe firefeather did it." she laid down beside him, her tail still resting on his back.
