SeaWing stared at the water, itching to jump in but he turned to SilverStorm and smiled. "Yep! I've been swimming since I was a kit! He noticed she looked a little concerned "You don't need to swim if you don't want to." He purred gently "We don'y really need to swim anyway, if you'd prefer not to. Looking at the water is enough for me" He grinned at her, hoping to make her more at-ease.

She looked down at the water again, putting her paw to test how deep and cold it is. So its not as deep as i thought, but its pretty cold"Uh no thanks i'd like to learn a new skill. "Yeah if i don't die in the process... She stepped in the shallow end nervously, still feeling the ground on her pads. It's so cold! She kept walking in deeper, occasionally glancing at Seawing. Then she halted to a stop once she couldn't feel the ground anymore. "So, uh how do you swim?" She reversed until she felt sand on her paws.

SeaWing leapt into the water, staying submerged for a few moments before popping his head out of the chilly water. "It really is cold, Huh?" He laughed, shaking droplets of water from his ears. "Refreshing, though!" He chirped, paddling over to SilverStorm using his forelegs to steer himself and his back legs for propelling his sleek form forward. "Where to start.. to be honest I'm not sure how I learned how to swim. I'm pretty sure I just jumped in and tried not to drown." He chuckled, only half-joking. "If it's not too cold try wading in deeper, but not too far, I don't want you to slip." He swam in small circles as he spoke, his eyes on SilverStorm.

Smoketail looked over at the rogues and at all of his Clan mates around them. They seemed to loose interest in the rogues, as if they also knew they weren't too much of a threat. "Okay, it's about time we take our leave." Smoketail said. "Tigerlily, Pebblepaw, you two are on my patrol. We're going to mark this border then head South. Got it?"

The white apprentice looked over to Oakpaw. The young tom looked eager to go hunting and do his best for his Clan. I wonder how good he is at hunting She thought. There's ought to be a reason he's so excited to hunt.

Riverbriar nodded slowly "Good choice." she said. She lifted her head up "Alright then, let's get going while we've still got plenty of time." she glanced between the two cats with her, her mind already filling with different strategies and ideas. She was hoping to see Lightpaw take on Rabbitleap, she was sure by now he was use to sparring with her and could probably guess what she was doing next. The real test would be against someone he wasn't use to training with. Though she was fairly confident in his skills and was pretty proud of how far he'd come. She was sure he'd be able to impress Ashstar when the time came for them to approach him about Lightpaw's warrior ceremony.

Sootnose had left the rest of the patrol behind, unaware of their exact locations as she hunted on her own. She'd managed to already catch a small vole when she had stumbled upon a squirrel. She crept forward slowly her pawsteps light and when the finally had the chance she shot forward. Though she has miscalculated and the squirrel managed to hit the tree and race up it before she could get to it. She paused, glaring up at it before she huffed, no it wasn't worth it to try to get up there after it.. She shook her head disappointed before she headed off in a different direction hoping to scent something else. Her ears twitched as she listened for her clanmates hoping to not disturb any of them if they were close.

Shadowstep said nothing as he moved closer to Smoketail eyeing Tigerlily and Pebblepaw silently. He was unsure of the whole situation with the rogues and it was making him uneasy. He wanted to get as far away from where they'd been as possible and just finish this patrol up. He glanced over at Spiritwhisker checking to see what she was doing as he realized he'd been paying most of his attention to Smoketail and the rogue situation.

Nodding again the fluffy silver-grey apprentice grinned at him "I'm ready now!" she said trying to hold back her excitement. She knew it was dangerous there, so she didn't want him to think she was over eager and was going to go there and make a mistake.. But she was still very curious and excited to go nevertheless. Rainypaw padded after him taking extra precaution to make herself walk much quieter than usual. Could twolegs hear them the way rogue cats or prey could? Should she ask? Would he even know if she asked? She shook her head trying to clear it of the more useless questions. "Do any other herbs grow around twoleg gardens?" she asked settling on a more relevant question.

Stormypaw slipped away from the others heading off on his own to hunt as well. He headed in the opposite direction of his mentor and the issues with the rogues. He scented the air before he took off stalking after a mouse he'd spotted. This wasn't exactly what he had in mind.. But it would do for now.. Hopefully after this he'd be able to find something actually impressive..

Ashstar sighed as he turned back to Dapplednose. "I want border patrols to be increased around this area of the territory." His eyes narrowed as he glanced at the rogues. The tom's tail lashed about, showing his irritation. Taking a deep breath he looked around at the others. "Carry on with what you were doing." Patrols especially needed to continue on marking the borders. Ashstar's attention returned to Dapplednose. "I suppose we can continue on with our morning together."

The she-cat began to wonder how much longer they would work on training. Flamingpaw seemed to be catching on fairly quickly, which was a good sign.

Shaking his head he looked at the she-cat, but didn't say anything as the warrior just quickly visited and the she was gone. Sighing he taked the pile on dry moss and dropped them to his nest.
