Honestly, I only started listening to jpop last year so I don't know too many bands and it takes me forever to learn the songs off by heart because I'm not fluent in japanese or good at picking up words (yet) but ayyyy

oh, welcome to the fandom then! what kind of bands/groups do you like? haha, don't worry. at least you can have fun singing or learning the songs, nobody will judge or humming the song works. i speak japanese and it's def not required. do you also like j-rock?

I really want to learn japanese tbh xD I feel like listening to japanese music will help me with pronunciation etc when I get there xD
I think they make some good music and I love listening to them ^^ Spyair is my favorite at the moment (I thought they belonged to j-rock but I suppose their music is in between). I used to listen to rock before on english, so I don't mind it on japanese xD
As mentioned, Spyair is my current favorite. I've looked through the list and there are a few other names I recognise, however honestly, most of the songs I listen to come from animes and therefore I don't always know the artist xD
