She flicked her ears as she cleaned up her paw. The teeth from the trap left nasty indents in her flesh. She sighed and looked it over.
"Dads so not gonna be happy. Now how am I gonna hunt for my siblings?" He asked in a hushed voice to herself, thinking of her little brother and sister, not even a week old.

khan listened to the female, even in her hushed tone he was able to pick up some of it. he internally groaned at his thought, but of course voiced it anyways. "meet me at the trap every morning. i can catch something extra for you and your family." he offered, glancing around to assure himself no pack wolf was around. he would definitely be in big trouble if someone found out he was giving extra prey to loners rather than saving it for the pack.

She looked up. "Thats nice of you, but you got pack scent all over you. Dad wouldn't allow us to eat it." She said and flicked her ears as she could hear the pack wolves far off. She lapped up a cool drink of water.

khan huffed at her words. "just roll all over it. i'll take a swim before i get anything, if that helps." khan muttered, just digging himself deeper into the hole. why? he had no idea. he internally rolled his eyes at his stupidity, but it seemed the fae's father wasn't exactly easy-going about things.

She giggled. "Alright, if you insist, Pack wolf." She said to the brute and looked at him. "Thank you, for everything." She said softly and looked down.

khan simply nodded in response to lyra, watching the water. "just gives me more time to myself." he responded, shaking out his pelt and sighing a bit. "i'm not a healer or anything, so i'm not sure if there's anything else that your paw needs." he muttered.

She shook her head. "My new mom will probably take care of it." She said and stood up, pulling the leg up to herself.

khan nodded a bit, rising to his paws as well. "then i suppose i should let you go get that taken care of." he stated, shaking out his pelt and exhaling gently, his eyes scanning the area once more before returning to the female.

She nodded. "Sure, thanks again." She said and gave Khans cheek a quick nuzzle. More of a thank you than anything. "See you around,
mighty rabbit watcher." She teased and heavily limped off into the thick underbrush.

khan nodded in response to her thanks, body tensing a bit as she nuzzled his cheek before departing. he shook his head a bit before turning and heading back to the pack, entering the familiar grounds with a slight huff. he could go for a nap.
