Relief flooded through Sunpaw. "Thank you." She meowed, facing Pepperstar, but meaning the words for Marshpaw too. She stepped back subconciously, his fur brushing hers, hoping he wouldn't flinch away.

Ashpaw yawned as the other apprentices entered but didn't move from Frostpaw's side.

Silentpaw sat up as the voice of her mentor reached her. She smiled and peeked her head out, only to slowly withdraw it

Manepaw heard a lot of noise coming from the camp. "I wonder whats going on?" he said, turning to head back.

Marshpaw dipped his head to the older warrior and Peppersong "thankyou" he said, shifting from paw to paw under their gazes. He felt a shock run up his spine when Sunpaw's fur brushed against him, it startled him as instead of the pain that always came with the sensation a golden warmth flodded through his limbs and tail. He twined his tail with hers and dipped his head to his leader, hoping the apprentice's midnight session would not reach the ears of his mentor or Sunpaw's.

Frostpaw, lifted her head blinking awake crystal eyes. she could hear her brother's voice resonating from outside and for a vage moment she wondered where she was, then she remembered that she was now in the apprentice den and that the comforting warmth pressed aginst her side was Ashpaw.

Manepaw entered the camp and saw a few of the warriors, apprentices, and Pepperstar. He sat near the back and listened.

[Wanderer.]

Sunpaw couldn't help the smile that spread across her face as she felt her tail wrapped in Marshpaw's or the blush that came with it. She turned her face away until she was sure she could control her face before turning back. "Thank you all. And next time we'll take a walk or soething if we're feeling restless." She meowed, faking a yawn. Sunpaw knew she wouldn't be able to sleep again, but she wanted to stay out of trouble now they'd been cleared. "We'd let the cat on guard know first of course." She added quickly.

Hollyfur growled under her breath. All the other warriors thought it was ok to be woken up in the middle of the night but not her, at least my apprentice has the sense to stay in the apprentice den, I should praise her for that later. She thought.

Crowflight heard voices drifting from the camp but she didn't know if she was aloud to go and see or not, or how long she had to keep quiet for. Turning to Tangletail she mouthed, "when are we done standing guard over the camp and can talk?" She fet abit embarrassed that the tom knew more then her but she knew he would never make fun of her for it, she was glade, she concidered Tangletail a friend.

Tangletail, looked up the sky was still dark though hints of light fluttered on the horizon "dawn" he mouthed to Crowflight.

Crowflight nodded, grateful for the information, she looked up at the sky and saw that dawn was only a couple of hours away, I can't wait to hear what the comotion was about. She thought, and today is the first day that I get to train Sunpaw! Crowflight felt like danseing on the spot, she was extreamly grateful hat PepperStar had chosen her to be a mentor, and she was really excited to prove that she would be an excellent one at that. Remembering that sh was supposed tobe guarding the camp she focused back on the forest and strained her nose and ears for any sign on itruders, although she didn't sense any.
