"The two leg towns are filled with all sorts of rude, horrible smelling two legs. We should be okay though if we avoid them." He said, trying to convince the little she-cat that they weren't all that bad. Of course, they were, but he didn't want her to worry.
"If you'd like, we could head there now and pick up some tansy and feverfew on the way back." Tansy was actually a common herb in these parts. That's why he hadn't worried about it too much. However, catmint was the hardest to obtain, considering the trouble the medicine cats had to go through to get to it.
Sunfeather looked up, spotting birds jumping through the trees.
If only I'd learned how to hunt on a regular basis...

Ivyflight didn't know whether to take his remark about his mother as a compliment or not, but didn't brush it off. She let it sit in her mind for a while.
Does he actually like me? She wondered. She'd never really thought of having a mate. She always thought she'd be a single cat without a mate or kits, only providing food for her clan.
She perked up at Hawkbreeze calling out.
"You did?" She whispered. She parted her mouth and breathed in, scenting precious prey almost immediately.

Ashstar nodded at Dapplednose. "Thank you." He raced after Pebblepaw, panic beginning to rise in his chest.
As they pelted through the territory, the scent of unfamiliar cats flooded his nostrils. The tom began to growl. Figures could be seen in the distance. Nearing the figures, he made out the shape of Tigerlily. Not too far away Lionfang appeared as well. Ashstar boldly stepped forward. "What's going on here?" The tom demanded in a deep voice.

Mouseberry grinned warmly at the young apprentice. She turned her attention back towards Cloudstep and Flamingpaw, watching as they continued training. She found herself nodding at Cloudstep's response to Flamingpaw's attack. Glancing back to Spiritpaw, she whispered. "Take good mental notes." The she-cat's tail flicked as her gaze shifted back to the mentor-apprentice duo.

Nightpaw caught the scent of prey nearby. His tail shot up with excitement. It was about time that they tracked down some prey. Creeping towards it, the tom took on the hunters crouch. The smell became stronger and stronger the closer he got to it. Finally, the sight of a plump mouse was in sight. Carefully he lept towards it, giving it a quick death blow. The tom proudly lifted the mouse. He found a spot nearby to bury it for the time being.

Falconblaze's head slightly tilted at the she-cats rambling. Did she not want to go help Tigerlily? His pace was quick as they made their way out of camp and after the others. "Uh." The tom turned his head towards Cherryblossom. "If..." Awkwardly, he began to speak, "If we go and see that they've got everything handled..." His tail flicked anxiously. "We could hunt instead?" The large tom didn't want to force Cherryblossom into doing something she didn't want to do.

SpiritPaw nodded, he narrowed his eyes in concentration. It was all confusing to him. He had never seen anyone fight- or even play fight- before. Originally, he had thought it was like hunting and yeah, he could see some similarities, but it was still completely new to him. He continued to watch them with great interest, still thinking over the similarities and what hunting tactics you could use to your advantage on battle. He decided to ask MouseBerry, she would probably know, after all she looked very wise. "H-hey MouseBerry?"He mewed quietly, he didn't want to bother her, but he still wanted to ask his question.

She smiled with a bit of confusion when Seawing offered to share the squirrel. It's like he read my mind... maybe things can be normal after all... "Sure we can share!" Sounding happy, then she realized she sounded happier when they talked about about food than normally talking to her mate. "Oh, uh you can take the first bite" trying to sound calmer. Im so glad Ashstar assigned me and Seawing as partners. Even tough she thought that Silverstorm would probable not say it, well at least not yet, to early.
