Heathersmoke's eyes lit up with excitement. "Thank you! I won't dissapoint you," she promised before dipping her head in goodbye. She padded away to look for Cloudypaw. She spotted the apprentice sitting beside Oakpaw. Heathersmoke padded forward with a bit of excitement in her eyes, although she was a bit nervous. She approached the two apprentices and dipped her head in greeting. "I hope I'm not inturrupting. Ashstar apologizes for his absence today, he wanted to spend some time with his mate. I'm going to take you training for the day, hopefully you don't mind," she meowed.

Hazelmoon nodded at Limeleaf. Being the only warrior here without an apprentice, she decided to veer off and hunt alone. She enjoyed the quiet sometimes, but she often got distracted by the rustling of leaves or a bird singing in the trees. That had been a major problem in her training, and her mentor had given her many lectures on it. She was better at focusing now, but she still got sidetracked occasionally. While she thought other warriors may look down on her for never having an apprentice, she didn't think she would be able to handle one. She shook her head to clear it before padding forward silently. She caught the rustling of the leaves nearby and she lowered her body into a crouch. Focus. There's prey ahead, she thought to herself as she stalked forward.

Lionfang was a bit confused on why Cinderpaw had left. No wonder she's been an apprentice for so long, he thought before looking at Stormypaw. "Do you want to hunt seperately and see what you can catch on your own, or would you like to hunt together?" He asked. Before, he wouldn't have given Stormypaw a choice. Now that Stormypaw was older, Lionfang decided that he was ready to start making more decisions on his own.

Maplefeather woke softly, the soft morning breeze sending a chill through her ginger fur. She got up slowly stretching her cramped legs. Walking out of the den she noticed she'd woken up late. Most Warriors were up or already on patrol. It was early in the day yet she could feel the tension resting in the camp. Few warriors favored having assigned mates, and it took a toll on clan life. Strolling over to a patch of grass Maplefeather settled down to bathe herself. She figured she would go out on her own soon to find some more prey for the fresh kill pile.

● Cinderpaw slowly nodded her head and slowly stalked, paw by paw, she planned out every step. She leaped and the satisfying crunch of bones was heard. The warmth of the prey was quite satisfying and Cinderpaw smiled as she picked it up and carried it over to where Kestrelthorn was standing.
"Got it, you were quick to notice it."
Cinderpaw heard a thrush only to watch it fly away. Oh well, she thought and shrugged.
"So, do you think Ashstar is going to make me a warrior tonight?"

Ashstar was just about to head out of camp. His pelt was comfortably brushing against his mates. The tom came to a halt at the sound of his name being called. "Pebblepaw?" He tilted his head as he looked at the small apprentice."Tigerlily?" His mind frantically tried to recall when the she-cat left camp. "Where is she at?" Looking over at his mate he meowed in a stern voice. "Our stroll will have to wait. Let's go find Tigerlily." Turning his attention back to Pebblepaw, he nodded. "Lead the way, you can explain as we travel."

Falconblaze grinned, attempting to appear friendly. "Thank you." He comfortably sat down near the she-cat. He was almost too embarrassed to even look at her. His attention quickly locked onto the camp entrance. The tom watched as Pebblepaw ran frantically into camp. His eyes narrowed. It was too early in the morning for trouble to be stirring. Looking over at Cherryblossom he frowned. "We should go help Tigerlily." Though the tom wasn't familiar with the she-cat, he still didn't like the idea of any of the clan being in danger.

Riverbriar smiled at him before she pricked her ears "Ope, yeah good call. I should probably go get Lightpaw he's probably wondering what's taking so long." she shook her head before she straightened up flashing him another smile. "But i'd appreciate the help, two warriors are better than one and i'm sure he'd like to have another perspective, he's getting close to being ready to be a warrior." she said. Her mismatched eyes scanned the clearing then looking for her apprentice.

Riverbriar nodded in agreement "We won't go easy on ya, you're close to becoming a warrior after all." she said pride shining in her eyes for a moment. Lightpaw was going to make a fine warrior, she was sure of it. "Any preferences on where we train? By the water? In a clearing? Around a lot of trees?" she asked listing off a few vague places "I want to see you doing your best. So if you're more comfortable in a certain type of area i'd like to head out there." she said.

Sootnose shrugged off the strange behavior and headed off with the rest of the patrol. She glanced back only to make sure Nightpaw was around as they made it to the border. She slipped away from the rest of the patrol confident that Nightpaw was able to hunt on his own. She slipped into the undergrowth her dark fur blending in easily as she stalked the nearby prey.

Shadowstep silently did as they were told before he trotted quickly back to Smoketail, following close behind him. He bit back a hiss as the scent of other cats hit him and instead pinned his ears against his head as he continued to follow Smoketail. He lashed his tail but kept silent not wanting to alert anyone to their presence. The last thing they needed was for any enemies to know they were coming.

Rainypaw padded alongside him, pausing to look down at the same oak tree he did. She nodded slowly going over the places in her mind before she looked up. "Two leg gardens?" she echoed. "I haven't gone there before.." she paused curling her tail up slowly "But I can still go and help! If you want to go today!" she said. She glanced around then hoping to spot some tansy around one of the oak trees there, she wanted to find something on her own at least. Even if she had to be told where things were.

Stormypaw glanced between the rest of the patrol as they began to either split up or talk about doing so. Turning his attention to his mentor he lifted his head up "I want to hunt on my own and see what I can get." he said nodding slightly at his own decision. Perhaps if he caught something really impressive he could bring it home and show his sisters. Rainypaw wasn't a warrior's apprentice so she might not really truly appreciate it but he was sure Cloudypaw would. He shook his head to clear it before he glanced around "Can I go?" he asked, as eager as he was to get hunting he didn't want to just take off from his mentor.

Lionfang nodded, looking at his apprentice for a moment. "I'm proud of you," he meowed before dipping his head. "Yes, you may go," he added before he turned and padded off on his own. I should go a bit further, this way the forest will be calm and I can hunt peacefully. he thought as he padded forward. He slipped through the undergrowth and stopped after he had gone a fair distance. He lifted his head and pricked his ears, listening for the sound of prey. He heard a faint hissing up ahead and he tilted his head. Who could possibly be fighting? Rouges? he wondered, inhailing deeply. It was faint, but nearby he detected the scent of stray cats. Rouges, he thought bitterly as he rushed forward. He skidded to a halt as he saw Tigerlily.
Is she challenging them by herself? he wondered as he stepped forward silently.

She padded towards the prey pile taking a small skinny vole trying not to look like she was hogging prey. She kept glancing around herself nervously to see if anyone was looking at her. The silver tabby told herself that after she had finished eating she would go out and catch something at least twice the size of her scrawny piece of prey. She really wanted to prove to the clan that she wasn't just some washed-up rogue that just decided to make herself at home here, she wanted it to all be normal but she doubted that it would happen.
She had finished her prey( didn't take long )and was of hunting in the forest, then she spotted a plump squirrel almost 3 times the size of that scrawny vole eating a nut on the ground, she licked her lips but then she remembered it was for the clan. Disappointed that she forced herself to give it up to the clan, she crept closer until she was 1.5 tail length away and killed it on the spot, then headed toward camp.
