"I'll be back then I guess" She said her ears flattened. She sniffed the air for any borage leaves and catches the scent. The beautiful light orange tabby looks back at Brownspring and Rosepaw and she turns back around to follow the scent.

Waiting for Ivyflight to answer...

He grabbed a mouse and padded to his nest. He sat down and ate his prey. "and good thing I wasn't attacked by another animal again." he said remembering how his sister was killed and how he was blinded in one eye by a crow attack earning his name, Crowscar.

SPIRITPAW

Tom| Location: Entrance to the warriors den, heading to prey pile. | Tags: Open

SpiritPaw watched BrambleFire, and began to slowly inch away back towards the Apprentice den. "He looks busy." He thought. "I'm starting to get hungry..maybe I should get something to eat and then try and start up a conversation with someone." the mere thought of needing to initiate a conversation made his stomach churn, but he was going to make a friend. ''It's what Mom would want me to do..." He muttered, before walking over to the prey pile and sitting close to it, hesitantly grabbing the smallest mouse he could find, sinking his long, serrated claws into it's soft flesh.

"Don't worry about it. She never liked me too much anyway," The tom chuckled.
"Feverfew grows along riverbanks and near streams, so it should be easy to find," Sunfeather explained.
"Tansy grows at the foot of trees such as oaks..." He trailed off, coming to an oak tree and sniffing it. No tansy.
"And, annoyingly, catmint can only be found in twoleg gardens. It's dangerous, but we cannot risk losing cats to greencough." Sunfeather sighed, nervous about heading into the twoleg place, or rather just leaving the forest cover in the first place.

Ivyflight was taken a little bit aback by his words.
I'm perfectly capable, you fox-dung. She thought, but didn't say it.
"I'll be fine, Hawkbreeze. Really. I've got you to help me if I get into any trouble, after all. Plus, I'm not incapable of defense, you know." She purred, amused by his concern. She'd never really been cared for all that much. It was nice, although she didn't know if she was going to get used to it or show the same amount of affection.

Firewillow looks around the forest for any signs of the star shaped plant. She sniffs once again for the herb and follows it.
"I think I'm close!" she said to herself. The light orange tabby walks faster, following the scent.

"Okay, I just wanna protect you. You remind me so much of my mother." he told her. He lifts his muzzle up and sniffs some prey nearby. "I think I found something!" he exlclaimed

He finishes his meal and lays down, his paws tucked underneathe his long fur He yawns and closes his eyes.

Ashstar watched as the apprentice hurried away to find her mentor. The tom couldn't help but smile, remembering when he was still an apprentice. Turning his attention back to Dapplednose, his tail swayed happily. "It looks like we're about ready to go on our merry way." A purr rumbled in his chest. He couldn't wait to take some time with his mate outside of the camp.

Mouseberry smiled contently as she watched the training session carry on. Every now and then her eyes would shift to the ground or to her left or right. A small ant had begun to crawl up the she-cats left paw. She looked down, observing the ant. The farther it crawled, the itchier she became. Not being able to stand it much longer, she flicked her paw, shaking off the ant. Sorry little ant... The calico she-cat focused her attention back onto the training session.

Nightpaw's eyes narrowed as he watched Cinderpaw pelt around them. What was up with that she-cat? Whatever it was, he didn't like it. She had been acting strange all morning, and it was starting to annoy the tom. Sighing heavily, the tom looked at the remaining patrol members. Stormypaw seemed to be just as confused as he was. Attempting to ignore the she-cats actions, the tom was itching to dig his claws into some prey.

Falconblaze was on the last bite of his squirrel when his eyes lifted to observe the camp clearing once again. He noticed that everyone seemed to be awake now. As his gaze made its way to the last part of the camp, Cherryblossom caught his attention. The cream-colored she-cat was the most beautiful cat he had ever laid eyes on. The tom quickly began to devise a plan to find an excuse to sit near her. He chomped down the last of his squirrel and scrambled to his paws. The usually calm, laidback tom was now as squirmy as a kit. For some reason every time he looked at the she-cat he felt that way. Padding over to where the she-cat sat, he gulped. "Uh..." Clearing his throat, he forced his voice to be low and steady. "I hope you don't mind if I sit here in the sun as well." The brown tabby felt like his whole body was on fire. Why was he feeling this way?

SPIRITPAW

SpiritPaw picked the small mouse up in his jaws, his audits twitched slightly. He trotted towards the hunting grounds, catching sight of a few of his clan mates. He spotted a Calico she-cat who was observing the training session going on, he lowered himself into a seated position a few feet away from her, turning his light green optics towards the other cats who were training.

(sorry if I bother anyone, I was trying to make SpiritPaw socialize. Rip.)

Riverbriar smiled at him before she pricked her ears "Ope, yeah good call. I should probably go get Lightpaw he's probably wondering what's taking so long." she shook her head before she straightened up flashing him another smile. "But i'd appreciate the help, two warriors are better than one and i'm sure he'd like to have another perspective, he's getting close to being ready to be a warrior." she said. Her mismatched eyes scanned the clearing then looking for her apprentice.

Riverbriar smiled faintly "Good morning." she said dipping her head. "Rabbitleap and I aren't on patrols today, at least not morning ones, so we're both going to go out training with you." she said flicking her tail towards the other warrior. "I was thinking we could start off with some battle training, use Rabbitleap here to get another perspective we don't usually get." she explained glancing between the two of them now.

Sootnose shrugged off the strange behavior and headed off with the rest of the patrol. She glanced back only to make sure Nightpaw was around as they made it to the border. She slipped away from the rest of the patrol confident that Nightpaw was able to hunt on his own. She slipped into the undergrowth her dark fur blending in easily as she stalked the nearby prey.

Shadowstep nodded trailing after Smoketail as he changed directions "Makes sense she'd be with her mentor." he let out a sigh. "Tigerlily better have a good explanation for not waiting for the patrol." he said growling irritably. He glanced at his apprentice and nodded, faintly wondering who they should ask to go out with them for a moment before his thoughts returned to the patrol and what they were doing. He scented the air again, but nothing out of the ordinary just yet.

Rainypaw padded alongside him, pausing to look down at the same oak tree he did. She nodded slowly going over the places in her mind before she looked up. "Two leg gardens?" she echoed. "I haven't gone there before.." she paused curling her tail up slowly "But I can still go and help! If you want to go today!" she said. She glanced around then hoping to spot some tansy around one of the oak trees there, she wanted to find something on her own at least. Even if she had to be told where things were.

Stormypaw glanced over at the only other apprentice, Nightpaw, giving him a questioning look as Cinderpaw left. He then looked to his mentor "So anyways." he said before he moved to follow after Nightpaw's mentor. He scented the air hoping to catch the scent of prey so that they could hopefully get along with this patrol. Maybe he could get something big and impress Lionfang. His tail twitched slightly in excitement as he thought more about getting things done.

"Tomorrow night. Meet my by the entrance of camp, and I'll lead us there."
Cinderpaw affectionately brushed her tail against him,
"Thank you for being so loyal and trustworthy, I couldn't imagine a better cat to stand by my side."
Cinderpaw had known from the beginning that he had always been a good trustworthy cat, and he had proved himself many times before.
"So, should we catch some prey before we go back? We don't want to go back with empty paws."

[I think Cinderpaw has developed a crush for Kestrelthorn.]

Smoketail
Where?: EmberClan Camp//Mate: Sootnose//Tags: Spiritwhisker, Shadowstep, Snowpaw (border patrol), Tigerlily

Smoketail sniffed the air for Tigerlily, only catching a soft trace of the she-cat. "Well, at least we know she's been here. Someone, mark the territory here, I'm going to go after her scent." Smoketail ordered, then followed the faint trail. It got stronger and stronger as he followed it, and he began to pick of scents of other cats. From the smell of it, they weren't from here. Is she dealing with foreign kittypets? If so, that may as well be a good enough excuse for leaving without us. Smoketail thought, following the scents.

Cloudypaw perked her ears when she heard Oakpaw say that Ashstar probably thought she was ready to be a warrior. "Don't be ridiculous, Ashstar probably doesn't.... Do you really think so?" Cloudypaw asked. She was originally going to say something against the idea, but didn't want to miss out on any praise.

She smiled at Mouseberry then listened to her mentor "Like a attacking a prey, but without running to catch it?" she meowed thinking the way her body moves when she hunt. Tail flicking she looked the forest, when suddently quickly turned to her mentor and jumped toward his face, like huggin him "Like this?" she meowed.

She wandered around the forest following the rest of the patrol cats, watching how the older cats handled with their apprentices. She has not yet got any apprentice to deal with, so looking others was very learnfull to the young she-cat.
