There are heaps of art competitions on CS, but not very many writing ones, so I decided to make one
myself. This competition will end on the 20th of April, two months after it started.

The prompt is one word - birds. You can create a short story or a poem, but keep it under 3k
words if possible. You can only enter one story or poem, but feel free to edit it as much as you want
before the end. Adding art or anything else is okay but it won't change whether or not you win.

The prize is a tier 6 advent list, this pet. There isn't a second or third place prize, but if I get
multiple amazing stories I might give out extra prizes anyway.

The rules are pretty simple - be respectful, don't steal any writing from anyone else.

I find it really hard to read anything with poor grammar or spelling, so please make sure you proofread
your writing! If you need someone else to help you out with this that's okay, but they can't just write
the story for you.
