xxxxxThe corners of Mark's lips turned down as Frankie announced his finger looked broken. Sure, he'd figured it was, but it still wasn't fun to hear from someone else's mouth as well. It's not his fault for noticing something so obvious, though. "Okay," he complied. It was as Mark stood there waiting for Frankie, that he realized how injured he was. The pain hadn’t set in before, due to his adrenaline. As Frankie came back, he willed the thought away. He'd need to focus on his hand for the moment, anyway. Following Frankie, Mark sat down next to him.

xxxxxThe process was uncomfortable, so with his finger wrapped up and the ordeal over, Mark felt relief. "Yeah, I hope," he answered. Still wary of putting too much pressure on his right hand, Mark tried getting up using both. It actually didn't hurt as bad as he'd anticipated. "Did I see anyone...? No, except you." The offer to sleep was enticing, but Mark's curiosity got the better of him. "Maybe we'll find people if we look?" The other male was right. If the two of them had escaped, there was a good chance someone else had the same idea as well. It didn't hurt to try and look, at the least.

He nodded. "No i think im about good." he said and turned before snapping his fingers. "Oh, rabbit fur." He said and picked them up.
"Thank you." He said, lifting the furs before taking them inside and mending them to the pillows he had made. Making them softer and more plush, then he walked over to a tree and cut them open, stripping bark in chunks to allow more sap to drain out.

He looked at her and offered her a warm smile. "Oh, thank you." He said and took the meat. He walked outside and sat beside the fire to eat. He sat on a patch of grass and watched the flames as he bit down into the warm rabbit. He hadn't tasted something this good in so long. He drooled as he ate the creature. "Danny this is amazing, thank you." He said and smiled at her.

His eating slowed and his smile faded. He stared at the fire as he recalled the men in white lab coats. "They... they wanted me for public assassinations.... Killing targets in broad daylight. People would undoubtedly know a mans face in a crowd, but a dog attack is just bad luck. I would get away and no one would suspect a loose dog running through the streets." He said softly. "A blasted dog could kill anyone and get away." He quoted the scientist who injected him.

MAGNOLIA JIN

Exhaustion is a figment of the imagination, Magnolia told herself as she marched on. One hoof at a time. Her legs ached from the exertion of continuous walking, and she had forgotten when she last rested. Pain is a figment of the imagination.
Her brother, in his human form, was sound asleep on her back. He had tied himself in a sort of makeshift saddle that attached to her antlers. It had been weeks since he had enough energy to shift into a hummingbird.
Finally the steady pace of her hooves took her to what appeared to be a camp. There was a firepit with a lit fire, a well at the center, four cabins... Seemed like someone lived here.
They would be suspicious seeing a tame moose and a nineteen-year-old boy together. Maybe they would be out for her antlers. Magnolia was about to turn and leave before someone saw her, but she felt her brother squirm out of his poorly made saddle. All of a sudden a weight left her back, and she saw a flash of green and pink shooting across the clearing.
Myrtle! Magnolia thought, shaking her head. The moose walked towards her brother and the man, hoping they would both behave reasonably and not start anything.

MYRTLE JIN

Why did his sister stop? The rhythm of her hooves on the ground was so calming to listen to. Myrtle's eyes shot open as soon as the sound died away.
They were in a clearing with cabins, a real live fire, and a real live other person. Overcome by excitement, Myrtle wriggled out of the ropes and shifted, body shrinking into the form of a tiny hummingbird. He fluttered across the clearing, but collapsed at the man's feet as he suddenly turned back into a small boy. Myrtle had no energy to maintain the hummingbird form for long.
"Whoops!" He laughed at himself, sitting up and looking up at the guy. "Uh this is awkward, sorry for busting into your camp like this. My sister and I haven't seen other people in years..."
He gestured at the moose which was walking towards them. Magnolia looked to be pretty disappointed in Myrtle for flying up to some random guy. Uh oh.
