Silentpaw simply nodded before taking a few steps back. When they both had finished preparing themselves, Silentpaw darted towards Thunderjay and under his stomach before bumping into his hind legs, attempting to cause him to lose his balance.

Wolfleap smiled back as she watched Ravenstar head out of camp and out of sight. Wolfleap glanced around, sighing to herself before sitting down.

Stormpaw nodded in agreement. “Yeah.” He replied. When she batted him, he ducked his head with a chuckled before following Shrikefeather. After awhile of walking and trotting, he pricked his ears forward as Shrikefeather spoke. “Well, I don’t really know the other apprentices, besides Moonpaw, but she’s a medicine cat apprentice.” He sighed.

She watched, impressed by Silentpaw's speed and agility and watched her brother in anticipation for what he would do next. Although they were adopted littermates, Thunderjay during battle was still a mystery to her. Him being a loner before he joined the clan had caused him to learn so many tricks that she possibly couldn't even think of.
How would he react? And what will Silentpaw do?

The moment Silentpaw had darted under his belly, he had already kicked up his hind legs away from Silentpaw, strengthening the muscles in his forepaws so that his hind legs were in the air as, muzzle gently scraping where Silentpaw's tail was a pretend bite before he brought down his hind legs into what would be a powerful kick/jab towards Silentpaw's stomach had it not been for his twist at the very last moment. Thus, he only gently kicked Silentpaw, not wanting to hurt her. Whirling, he leapt for Silentpaw this time.

Silentpaw almost fell when Thunderjay kicked her, but she managed to keep balance to her surprise. After she was safely away from him, she turned around to see him leaping at her. She had just enough time to remember how Thunderjay had ran the other way when she had leapt at him, so she swiftly ran towards the other way, dodging his attack.

"Oh, Well i'm sure you could at least try and make a new friend right? It wouldn't kill you to try finding an apprentice we could train with. But if you don't want to that's fine. We will head out into the forest tomorrow at sunhigh that will give you plenty of time to find an apprentice that you want to train with. If you don't want to find an apprentice than we can go at Sunup. It'll be nice and cool perfect conditions for some sparring practice." ShrikeFeather said giving Stormpaw the choice of who he wanted to train with. Though it would be nice for him to find an apprentice to train with it wasn't necessary and they could continue with their lessons as normal. She paused at a scent of rouge. The trace scent of rabbit flooded her as well. "Darn these rouges." she muttered under her breath then spoke clearly. "Stormpaw, what do you smell?"She asked looking at Stormpaw hoping he would identify what had happened here late yesterday evening.

Otternose is hunting with Elmwind, Silentpaw and WillowMist.

RobinDust is eating a Shrew and relaxing by the prey pile.

Rather impressed at his apprentice's fast thinking, he grinned before he lunged at her retreating figure and jabbed his forepaws at the tendon in her hind leg to make her buckle annd crumple before he nudged her in the shoulder to further send her unbalanced.

Stormpaw shrugged. “I guess.” He meowed back. He quietly walked alongside his mentor, sniffing the arid very once in awhile to make sure nothing had crossed the borders. When Shrikefeather began to speak, he pricked his ears forward before sniffing the air. “Rabbit.” He meowed at first before sniffing the air once again and wrinkling his nose in disgust as a rather unpleasant smell drifted by. “Rogues!” He spat.

Creeping through the undergrowth, she parted her jaw before she caught the scent of squirrel.
There!
Spotting said animal, she stalked downwind of it before slowly slinking forwards, making sure to not step on any leaf. The squirrel suddenly sat up, but she leapt. It had bounded for a tree, but with a spring, she clawed it down from the tree before promptly killing it with a swift bite. Thanking Starclan quietly and quickly, she picked up her prey before she headed back to Elmwind, Softpaw and Otternose.
"Should we go back now, and bring back our prey?" she suggested.

"Indeed." she nodded as Stormpaw identified the scents perfectly. "Keep that in mind Stormpaw. We must inform Ravenstar when we return. The scent is stale. Yesterday evening perhaps, there shouldn't be much of an issue there. Come along we must continue. A rouge scent must not deter us from our duties. We need to check the entire boarder." ShrikeFeather continued on determination radiating off her pelt. She could smell no other breaches of boarders as they continued and relaxed her stance and slowed her pace which had been brisk until now.

Otternose picked up his catch. A sizable shrew, nothing extraordinary but something was better than nothing. He couldn't help but feel confused. This place was crawling with prey the other morning when the mist had still hung over the low hanging branches of the forest. The sun had barely risen when he had been out scouting locations for a hunting party. Yet at this time of day the forest seemed eerily empty. He knew there was nothing effecting the forest's prey it was unlucky on the hunting parties part. He shrugged and perked his ears at Willowmist's voice. "I don't see why we can't head back. We won't have much luck anyway with the ruckus we have been causing the prey might as well have all scattered to the shadows by now." he stated in a calm tone of voice as liquid and gentle as the breeze. His fur smelt of pine cone and dewed grass as he often at night wandered the forest he couldn't help but sigh at leaving it once again. Perhaps tonight he could sneak out under the cover of darkness to linger in the forest and drink from the cold clear river. The thought was comforting as he approached Willowmist awaiting orders to return to camp.

RobinDust had finished her prey with a satisfied yawn she had noticed the deputy out alone just sitting in camp.,
Why not pay a visit? She stood and approached "Hello WolfLeap." she stated a sly expression on her face. She debated whether to pipe up about Otternose's feelings. She felt like teasing like the trouble maker she was. "Are you aware of a certain cat's feelings for you?" she chuckled and looked at WolfLeap her gaze mischievous.

Icefang

Hearing a mew from one of her kits, she lifted her head and saw Gingerkit attempting to find milk. Icefang used her muzzle to move Gingerkit closer to her sides for milk.

Softpaw

Softpaw picked up her second mouse, but both of her mice were thin and not very much to fill a belly. Hearing Willowmist, she whirled her head around.

"I guess." sighed she sighed, mumbling because of her two mice "The mice I managed to find are so tiny!" Swiveling her ears around, she couldn't hear any prey. No mice squeaking, no birds calling, nothing! Absolutely, positively nothing!

Pebblekit

Awakened by her sister, she copied her and started to crawl to her mother. Pebblekit was comforted by her mother's warm embrace and milk.

Giving Thunderjay and Silentpaw one last glance, blue eyes flickering as she remembered her apprentice days, she turned around, and only the quiet swish of ferns signalled that she had left. Padding away quietly, she headed back to camp.

"You're right, there has been less prey recently for some reason..." she murmured, before sighing.
"Oh well, the clan still has to eat. We'll make do." she meowed quietly before she bent down to pick up the squirrel as well as the blackbird she had caught earlier, before she waved her tail as a signal to head back to camp.
