That reminds me, a question for everyone:
What are your experiences like writing sarcasm in characters ?

I try to highlight the body language when my characters say something sarcastic, just to make it more clear. Or put an OOC note if needed.
But in general I find writing sarcastic character both fun and challenging. For some reason, my written sarcasm comes off more snarky. Which is hilarious because in real life I'm anything but. It just doesn't come out right when I write.

I am dying right now. When I write sarcasm, I tend to have it said by the character and then in the next sentence, I literally say: "And that was entirely sarcasm".

when i write sarcasm i usually keep in mind the characters body language and their tone of voice and how they speak. i usually make them roll their eyes or cringe or something or make sure their tone is similar to irritation or annoyance.

I'm told I'm 90% sarcastic all of the time so I just kinda put what I'd say?? Or I'll add that the character said it in a sarcastic way or have them laugh to show what they said was in a joking way. I'll of course mention it if I didn't make it clear enough in the post
An example I guess is in another rp I believe @Raven is in with me as well is my character literally asking about a 'pretty boy meeting' in the forest where he runs into an assassin and hunter and is trying to make it out alive lol (sarcasm is his line of defense poor boy)
