"Really?" Crowfligh asked dumbfounded, never hearing any cat mentioning that the new warriors had to sit vigil. " Well I should probbly get going then, thanks Raccoontail, if it whaasn't for you I wouldn't have known anything about the new warriors haveing to gaurd the camp!" Crowflight got up from her nest and nodded to Raccoontail before leaving the warriors den and heading to where she saw Tangletail already sittng guard, silently of course. Feeling abit embarrassed, Crowfligt padded up to him and sat down beside him.

Tangletail nodded to Crowflight, and grinned mouthing the words "glad you came" . the young tom was happy that he could atleast have some company on his silent vigil.

Crowflight mouthed a "thanks, you too" back at Tangletail. She strained her hearing for any noice but didn't hear anything, her smell didn't reveal anythin out of the ordinary either. All must be well, tonight is going to be a loooong night, I don't know how I am going to stand gaurd AND teach Sunpaw tomorrow, Crowflight thought, becomeing exhausted even thinkin about the prospect.

Tangletail grinned then motioned for her to lay down, as he did the same. the she-cat seemed restless and nervous, he wondered idly if she was as frightened about their new apprentices as he was; quickly dismissing the thought he focused his mind on fluffing out his fur to combat the cold wind that wafted through the trees.

Crowflight dissmissed Tangletails motions to lay down and rest, if she layed down she would most likely fall asleep, she didn't want LeafClan to think she was lazy at all, not that Tangletail was lazy. And what if there are more badgers around here other then the one that killed BrightStar? It seems unlikely that they would attack a clan full of cats but still..... Crowflight looked back and saw that BrightStar's body was still in the camp, someone should tell PepperStar that BrightStar's body is still here, she should be burried soon, I'll tell her before I get Sunpaw tomorrow.

Wolffang hurried over to where the other two new warriors were already sitting. "Sorry." He mouthed silently sitting beside Crowflight. He sat tall and pricked his ears, ready for the slightest sound.

Sunpaw made her way dozily into her nest and yawned. She'd been up since dawn, wanting to prove she wasn't lazy, and stayed up late the night before. She settled down to rest in the far corner of the den, not sure anyone wanted her beside them. She shivered a bit, her fur not quite out of the nursery stage. She curled into a tighter ball, trying to sleep, but unable to quiet her thoughts or the wind.

Nightshade watched the group of cats in the center of camp. She shrugged and padded towards the warrior's den.

Silentpaw saw Sunpaw come in and slowly she got up to lay by her side, pressing her warm white fur against her's. She laid her head on her paws and gently closed her eyes, hoping for another dream where she could talk.

[Wanderer.]

Sunpaw felt fur against hers and smiled as she saw Silentpaw curled up beside her. She sighed happily at the warmth and sank into sleep.

candypaw could not sleep so she watched over the camp

robinpaw started to mew in his sleep

Sunpaw almost screamed as she woke up, but luckily her meows were muffled by her tail which she realised was bleeding from her biting it. She carefully creptout the den, trying not towake anyone and slipped into the clearing. She passed the warriors on vigil silently and sticking to the shadows, not sure if she was calm enough to speak to anyone yet without bursting into tears. She slipped behind the elders den and let out a small sigh as she collapsed to the ground. Exhausted as she was she dared not try to sleep, knowing the nightmare would return and that she wasn't strong enough to handle it right now. So the small apprentice just layed on the cold ground, hardly noticing the cold wind peircing her fur.

Wolffang remained sitting dutifully, occasionally glancing at Crowflight and Tangletail. He looked into the forest and could of sworn he heard the crack of a twig, but whipping around, he saw nothing but shadows. Feeling slightly embaressed he sat back down, avoiding looking at his fellow warriors.
