Shadowbrook pawed at the bairly plum belly. She found a bump and gently taped around it. "This one feels right" Then moved onto the seccond lump. "Good..." Then she came to the third lump. She pawed this one and frowned. "I'm not shure but I think this one should be okay..." then she trailed off.

Briarpaw gasped, "No! You have to be sure! I can't have any of my perfect dream kits be deformed! I want my kits to be happy and normal! Please, be sure about the third kit." Briarpaw wished Badgerpaw was here now, calming her down, comforting her.

Badgerpaw heard Briarpaw and padded to the medicine cat den. He saw her and went to her side to calm her down. "I'm sure it'll be perfect." He said quietly in her ear and licked her cheek affectionately.
