Silverstar felt dizzy with joy as he asked the question. She buried her muzzle in his fur, and murmured “ Of course I will. I have been waiting for you to ask. “ just loud enough for him to hear. “ But don’t go around telling everyone. I want them to figure it out themselves. “ she told him. As they headed back to camp, she poked her head in the apprentice’s den, and noticed Smokepaw was sleeping. Let him rest, he has been on many patrols today. She padded into the Leader’s den, and she realized how tired she was. Eventually she laid down in her nest, and tried to fall asleep. What if Windpelt comes? I should stay up. she worried. If he does come, somebody will wake me, or Nightscar, or Dapplepool will deal with it. Go to bed, you deserve it. she decided. She laid her paws on her head, and began to fall asleep.

As Dapplepool finished sorting her herbs, she saw Nightscar in the sunning spot, and could almost feel The happiness radiating off of him. She flicked her ear, not used to the Newleaf sun quite yet. “ What’s got you in such a good mood? You are usually like Kestrelcry used to be! “ She twitched her whiskers in amusement. everyone knew how Kestrelcry was. But she knew the reason Nightscar was in such a good mood. It was quite obvious to her, but she was testing him. She looked at Nightscar expectantly.

"Uh... Thanks!" Wolfpaw felt a blush run over her. She didn't expect any warrior to say something like that to her while she was still training. She straightened her back, but felt a bit awkward all of a sudden. "Well, I'm going to check out the Medicine Cat's den, see what's up in there. It was nice talking to you!" She smiled, and a burst of energy ran through her as she tried not to run to the Medicine Cat's den.

Tigerpaw walked out from behind Dapplepool, where he had gone to rest as the energy leaked out of him. He saw Nightscar walking in, the usually serious cat looking dopey and dazed. Tigerpaw laughed, shut his eyes and stuck out his toungr. "Ewww, love!" He regained his composure and walked over to Nightscar. "In all seriousness, congrats. You deserve it."



(Also, when they become warriors (or in tigerpaw's case a medicine cat or whatever ) I would like their names to be Wolfheart and Tigerwind, if possible! ^-^)

Dapplepool twitched her whiskers in amusement as she saw Wolfpaw approach the Medicine Den. “ Hello, Wolfpaw! “ she smirked “ If you are looking for your mate, he is in the patient’s section talking with Nightscar. “ She told her. “ And, if you are looking for Silverstar - I think i saw her walk into her den, awhile ago. But in all seriousness - Is there anything you need help with? “ She questioned. Dapplepool was in a hurry to go and gather herbs, because New-Leaf season meant herbs were at the ripest of growing, when they were at their best to heal.

Wolfpaw smiled and giggled at the little joke. She saw Tigerpaw out of the corner of her eye. She knew he was out of earshot, but if he had heard Dapplepool, she knew he would be blushing furiously. He never knew how to take a joke, did he? "Just here to take Tigerpaw out for his annual walk, unless you need him?"

"Yea, it sure is." He knew if he was ever to become a Medicine Cat, he couldn't have a mate, and none of his fellow apprentices struck that child-like sense of a crush in him. The only cat that came even remotely close to that was Wolfpaw, and no matter how much Dapplepool liked to tease him, he knew they were strictly friends.
