I love the penguin horses! Especially the Emperor! (Or is it a King?) I have a soft spot for them. I do wish there was a Macaroni penguin, though. Those little guys are adorable! <3

I believe these have all been guessed correctly, so I'll just confirm these here. They were indeed inspired by tanagers.

must be an African penguin, the markings match (including the pink skin around the eyes) o:

How ling is it sually until we know last month's rarities?

rarities are updated manually so it varies! generally, they get updated halfway through the following month (for example, november's rarities will be released sometime mid-december)

however, from what i understand, december is a special case! Nick, the person in charge of "pressing the button" to run the calculations for rarities, will wait for all december pets to grow - including re-releases from the 18th. so we still have a little longer to wait until certain pets reach their final growth stage ^^;

the two are really similar but i'm pretty sure it's an emperor based on its foal stage! and it would've been neat to see a horse with the yellow tufts of a macaroni penguin, hah ^^ at least we almost got one as an item?
