What's your favourite and least favourite part about coding:

when you find the best color scheme and everything just fits, when you finish the coding and it somehow gets deleted.

When did you begin making signatures?:

I had been on CS about 2 years ago, and i sucked at coding. Came back a few days ago and took a great interest in it.

I'm russian, i'm trilingual (also currently learning japanese for 4 languages), I love winter, rainy days and bears.I also live in Idaho, home of potatoes :3

Congrats on the shop! I've actually been having a really hard time coding, recently. Coder's block has been hitting me hard, and I've been struggling with motivation to code as well. I guess one of these days I will have to force myself through coding a sig just to get back into the groove of things lol.

Welcome to the club! I also really love it when the color scheme works perfectly; I hate it when there's a few random colors that poke out randomly. x.x And I actually just had all of my code deleted for a character form a week or so ago lol so I feel your pain. Also, it's really cool that you're trying to learn a fourth language! Good luck with that!

@ anxious ghost ooo me! sometimes coding can take a lot longer than i want and
it’s super frustrating because you just want it finished and for it to look they way
you want it to in your head.

and i hate when you just finish coding a sig and then you want to change it and
code a whole new sig only a few days after you finished coding the one from
before. it feels like you just wasted your time or something, even though it’s
good practice i guess.

For big sigs, I'm really not much help, advice-vise lol. Generally what I do is choose one image or border to define the height of the sig (usually not full size, personally, but feel free to do whatever) to help give me a guide for everything else. And then because I'm not good at sticking with plans, I just kind of go with the flow and toss in whatever I think will look nice or whatever speaks to me, as cheesy as it sounds. People do tend to use longer quotes in large signatures, but you don't have to! You can still use a shorter one, just make sure it still spans across the sig nicely. The one thing I always do, though, is walk in with a color scheme and a few ideas in mind. Coding can be very similar to writing or drawing in the sense that it's okay to go in blind and without a plan, but one should always have ideas ready to go. Good luck!

totally, i sometimes start a sig and cant finish it due to losing all motivation;
however small sigs (like my current one) are usually how i get over that haha

be careful not to double post! it's considered spam! :3

i would say that big and intricate sigs can be frustrating to work on, so if you're
getting angry or frustrated, it's okay to just stop and continue it later! :3

i also think it's a good idea to see how your sig looks on other browsers too!
when something that looks good on your current browser messes up on another
browser it can inspire me to be creative and come up with another solutions!

Hi, all. Does anybody know of a place I can find coding signature templates? Digitaly Distinct has some, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I struggle with changing up my coding and I don't know how people make such nice and pretty boxes. Still, I've come a long way from when I first began. Any advice would be appreciated.
