The world is a brilliant place.

It is filled with bright and kind souls, from the North to the South. Sure, not every moment is sunshine and roses, but overall, life tends to be an uphill ride. At least for you and the ones you love.

Just beyond a few high peaked mountains, and past a river, a pack is nestled in the woods. It is just a stones throw from the river,
which makes it a wonderful and lush grounds for all who inhabit it. Animals are abundant and overflowing in every way. Because of that wonderful factor, a pack of wolves have marked their territory on the land, claiming it their own.

An array of wolves, of all shapes, sizes, and ages have made this pack their home. And the head of the pack is led by a strong but gentle alpha male. He keeps watch over the pack, and the wolves that he sees as his own family. He knows each wolf and their story,
and will fight til the ends of the earth to make them happy.

But this last winter was hard. Most of the pray for the pack has remained dormant and hid well, making it nearly impossible for the pack to stay healthy over the winter. And as result, a large majority of the wolves have perished in the winter wasteland. The freezing cold and bitter snow held no mercy for the pack, and each day another wolf grew ill or passed on.

Now that spring is here, the wolves are still regaining all their strength and are getting stronger each day. But their hearts are still in pain from the terrible losses that they had witnessed in these last few months. With weak paws, and shaking legs, the wolves in the pack hunt and try to regrow in numbers again. And it is a good thing that spring is here, because the numbers in the pack have dropped so much, the alpha is worried that the pack may not make it through next winter, unless they grow in members. The pack moves on, with their heads held high, pushing forward for the next generation and the strong to persist and overcome the treacherous past that they had just succumbed to.

reservations are only
needed for high ranking
characters. Not regular ones.

xxxxxxxxxTimber's eyes flickered open as the sound of birds chirping filled the emptiness of his den. As his eyes adjusted to the morning sunlight that streamed through the hole of his den, he took a deep breath in, smelling the deep spring flowers that were springing up outside. After a few moments of laying on his side, the young brute convinced himself to lean his head up, and take a glace around his den. Just as it always was, empty, but comfortable. Timber's den was his safe spot. Anytime he needed to get away, Timber would somehow end up in this very den, pondering his thoughts. Not many other wolves, besides his sister, venture into his sacred place. That gave Timber a warm feeling, like this room was his little secret, that no one dared to explore. With a chuckle, the alpha lifted himself off the dirt ground.
xxxxxxxxxTimber shook the loose dirt that clung to his pelt off, before taking in one last deep breath. He ushered his body forward, even though his legs begged for him to lay back down. His eye lids felt like bricks were tied onto them, and all he wanted to do was lay down and rest again. But it was bright and early, and the day is here. No time for naps. Time for him to get his day started, and for him to join the other wolves that have become part of his family, even though only Ever was related to him through blood. Nonetheless, every wolf that is under Timber's law, he loves them as one of his own family members. And nothing would change that fact.
xxxxxxxxxStepping into the sunlight, the brute's brown eyes squinted, trying to shield himself from the sun's glorious rays. The same bird that woke him up sang in the distance. Once his eyes adjusted, Timber walked through the open mouth of his den, and into the soft green grass that flourished on the grounds that surrounded his land. A small smile crinkled on the corners of his cheeks, as he scanned the surrounding area. For one brief moment, it appeared that Timber was alone. That never happened, especially since the packs numbers continue to become a problem. His smile faded into a hard line, remembering that the reason that he is alone is because the wolves that often greeted him in the morning have perished in the snow from that same year. All the joy that he felt a moment ago fizzled away like a dying ember that just fell from a burning fire.

xxxxxxxxxEver held her breath in her throat, refusing to make a single noise. The fae would not allow a twig to snap under her, much less her own breathing to be the cause of scaring away prey. The morning sunlight danced through the cracks of the trees and leaves, making it look like sun was being smeared and dropped in the most unexpecting of places. It was a sight to see. The woods in the morning were possibly the most peaceful location on the face of the planet. And Ever wanted to take this to her full advantage. Sure, she may not have been a hunter, but her stomach rumbled none the less, and food was scarce up until recently. Ever was never the kind of wolf to sit back, and wait for the hunters to bring her meal to her. Ever was perfectly happy going out and catching something to satisfy her. Today would be no different.
xxxxxxxxxSo as Ever held her breath, she watches as the rabbit that lay a yard in front of her nibbled on a loose flower, chewing each petal with his chubby cheeks grinding. Ever's legs produced her to go forward, and she landed on top of the rabbit, swiftly biting it's neck, ending the rabbit's life before it felt any pain. Ever did not hesitate to start to consume the creature. It was a full day ahead, and she did not want to waste her time playing with her food, or picking off scraps of it. A few moments later, the carcass was all but gone, besides a few bones and chunks of brown fur that lay scattered on the grass.
xxxxxxxxxFeeling satisfied with herself, Ever turned in the direction of the pack. Letting out a yip of happiness, she started to prace to the pack. Her light fur was like a drop of snow in an endless valley of green leaves. An odd sight, if you have not become used to seeing her on the outskirts of the territory. Once Ever exited the forest wall, she found herself walking to her favorite tree. It was an old oak tree that was planted right on the edge of the woods. Ever circled the base of the tree, which was only covered in dirt, no grass. It was like this because Ever laid there so much that the grass no longer grew. Placing her head on her massive paws, Ever's eyes looked from den to den, seeing who has risen yet. Ever was ready for her day to start.
