Petalpelt nodded her gaze moving past Silverstar to look out at the camp once again. She smiled gently, though she wasn't overly concerned considering the new comers ages she still thought it would be nice to check up on them. She giggled and looked at Silverstar then at Aspenpaw "He's going to be a great medicine cat, perhaps even better than I am." she said proudly.

Bayclaw stayed silent but kept her eyes on Squirrelpaw almost the entire time. She wanted to praise her for her hunting abilities.. But thought better of it and figured she'd mention it to her later when they were alone again. She didn't want to interrupt Ashpaw and Squirrelpaw. Growing close to your denmates was just as important as learning to be a warrior.

Shadowstep glanced around the cats gathered quietly trying to figure out who exactly Silverstar might pick. He had a few suspicions, cats he thought would make a good deputy. But what did he know about all that? He shook out his fluffy black and white fur then glanced around again. He hadn't been called for anything so he supposed he was free until he could figure out something to do..

Sunspots hadn't been paying all that much attention to the meeting honestly, he was a young warrior and was in no way even close to being a deputy nor did he think he might ever want to be. He admired Silverstar for being able to put up with the entire clan and lead them but it seemed so hard he didn't ever want to try. Instead he looked around hoping to spot someone who'd be willing to talk to him.

Falconpaw watched the excited apprentice dart off again back to her mentor and slowly moved farther from the apprentice's den. Sitting down he watched the two new cats his eyes mostly on Kallie considering she was closer in age to him. If she joined she'd be an apprentice like him.

Pebblepool laid in camp watching as the new cats explored and asked questions. A small smirk on her face as she watched Kallie in particular. She sincerely hoped they would stay.. And she would gain another young cat to tell stories to and watch grow up.

The tom nodded with a light chuckle. "I am looking forward to it." He meowed before holding a more serious face. "I must speak to you regarding my deputy as i know this is no easy desiccation." Silverstar was wary of this, as no matter what thered be cats unhappy but getting whats best for the clan rather then an individual was most important.

The she-cat looked at the town cats before giving a shy smile. "Y-yes. I can do that. I'll do my best, at least." She meowed nervously but with a genuine interest in meeting the two. New cats that could be apart of the clan would only benefit them,
and perhaps she could make new acquaintances at least. Though she shook her head at the thought, she wasn't much of an interesting cat herself. She flicked her tail at the apprentices' den. "This is where we have cats between 6-12 moons usually,
sometimes older. They are called apprentices, they are young and learning the ways of the clan. Hunting, fighting, socializing.
All important things that make a warrior." She meowed, looking back at the cats.

The tom spun around and hissed. "Theres no cat! Thats the scent of the newcomers earlier." He meowed in an annoyed tone before shaking his head. The then took a deep breath. "Sorry, you caught me off guard." He then lowered his head. "I shouldn't speak so harshly. I was just lost in my head." Ashpaw was diffidently changing. Almost an adult cat now, he felt all sorts was off about him. His height, energy, attitude. He didn't want to change, but it was happening.

Kallie's eyes locked onto the apprentice den. She was thoroughly fascinated by what she had just heard. The calico she-cat glanced over at Tyrus who was now distracted by what the other she-cat was saying. Without a word, she began to pad towards the den. She leaned her head forward, poking it inside of the den. Her yellow eyes widened as she looked around at all the bedding. Sometimes she missed having a comfortable spot to sleep.

Tyrus's eyes sparkled with interest. The tip of his black tail flicked back and forth. "Uh." He began, "So..." The tom tilted his head slightly. "How hard would it be for myself and Kallie to become warriors?" His voice shook a little. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed his sister had padded away, but simply ignored it. As long as she stayed within his sight, surely she would be alright.

Aspenpaw was silent, though at the comment of him being a good medicine cat he thanked both his mentor and Silverstar. When the leader spoke about needing to speak about the deputy was when he finally opened his mouth to speak. "Do you need me to leave? I thought we might be a little low on goldenrod, so I could get some of that" he said a little quieter than he would have liked, of course if they wanted him to stay he would, so he made a mental note to possibly get some goldenrod later.

Ebonythorn smiled a bit at her response. "I assume we're just waiting for Copperfleck?" he asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. He turned his head to watch Squirrelpaw run back into camp with two cats following behind her. "what do you think that's all about?" He asked, turning back towards his clan mate.

Siltfire walked along, keeping herself alert as she watched the apprentices. She let her mind wander to the fact that her apprentice, Ashpaw, would soon be a warrior and she knew she trained him well as he was growing to be quite the warrior. I have trained him well, even though I'm young she said to herself, she was twenty moons when she began to mentor him and she was confident then she would train him well and she was confident now that she has been training him well.

Leandra had made her way into a new territory with new cats to meet, and new cats to meet meant there was bound to be a cat she would become borderline obsessed with. The brown tabby glanced around and took in the gorgeous surroundings, noting the intricate paths all over the forest. Leandra set her paw down onto one of the paths and began to walk, she seemed quite out of it, just letting her paws take her where she needs to be. Leandra became lost in her own thoughts, her mind wandered to her previous mate Oracle and their son Omen, who she hadn't seen in moons. Leandra shook her head and kept walking, she didn't want to think of Omen not travelling with her anymore.

she came down from the tree "i-its ok i guess, i know its hard being so close to becoming a warrior, its my fault, i shouldn't just start shouting without the facts, im sorry." she dipped her head to ashpaw, she knew he ment well, its just she dosnt like people yelling.
She trotted back to her mentor and waited for the patrol to keep going, but she had a feeling in the back of her mind that something WAS there, in the bush, she just couldn't figure out what.

He looked to the apprentice. He couldn't really say yes or no, that was the she-cat's decision if she wanted him in on the descion making. He wouldn't mind, as Aspenpaw would one day need to do it anyhow. He waited patiently, his eyes dim.

Greyflower turned, watching the younger she-cat as she answered. "If I am one, anyone can be honestly." She meowed without thinking before shaking her head nervously, looking at the tom once more. "I mean, I won't say it's easy, it's a matter of you own will."
She then flicked her tail around her, licking her paw for a quick moment before finishing. "Your names, they will need to be changed. They are one of the most important ways to show you are a clan cat, rather then a loner or kittypet."

He nodded with a quite smile, noting she did understand, at least as well on could after his outburst. He began to follow the patrol again quietly in the back. He had caught something and waited for any signal from his own mentor, or a scent of prey.
He was hoping no to run into more cats.

Petalpelt's eyes flickered over to Aspenpaw for a moment wasting no time making her decision. "You're fine Aspenpaw." she said softly offering him a gentle smile. "Just know that when we talk to Silverstar in private it goes no further than between us." she said. She then looked back at Silverstar "We would be delighted to speak to you about your deputy. Do you have anyone in mind?" she asked though she already had an idea of who he could be thinking of.

she looked to where she saw the bushes move but she didnt see it move so she picked up a few bird feathers for kailie and Tyrus as an apology, she got a dove feather for kailie and a hawk feather for Tyrus, she put it on a bed of moss and rolls a stone small enough not to crush the feathers on it. she looked around and she saw the road she had to cross to get into clan territory when she was 4 moons old, she winced at the memory of her mom laying still in the middle of the road, she stopped and her eyes got watery but she quickly wiped her eyes, the past is in the past, she is strong now, she is in a strong clan and she WILL become the best warrior she will be, she put on a determined face not to let the others think she was sad.

(just realized how long this is, probably because when i listen to music i write {or type} alot)
