Odd
She was an odd dragon, and that was true. But Lefkítis didn't see this as a reason for all the other dragons behaviour. Perhaps she wasn't odd, but smarter than her incredibly stupid species. Dragons weren't supposed to be stupid, but things change over time, perhaps they where stupid. Most likely not, Lefkítis was just getting ahead of herself. Surely her speicies, the mighty dragon, weren't a bunch of numptys?
Lefkítis ran her claws through the bush, knocking off all the berries that hung hidden in its stunning green leaves. Lefkítis ate only vegetables and fruits, as she could not bring herself to eating dead victims or even just murdering innocent animals. How could any dragon kill an animal of similar or more intelligence than themselves without thinking that perhaps the poor animal has a family it's just trying to feed, or perhaps it's had a hard day and didn't need a pesky dragon coming to kill it. Lefkítis looked up as she heard a strange noise. She listened for a moment before it hit her. Screaming was coming from the human village. Lefkítis opened her large wings and jumped into the air, with two beats of her strong wings she was airborne, as she flew to the human village.
Sure enough the entire village was on fire, as well as the castle close by. And a huge, red dragon stop upon the top of the castle, burning everything to the ground, probably for sport. Suddenly Lefkítis felt a wave of anger. She flew up there and engaged into combat. She pinned the male dragon to the wall. He roared in anger and threw her off. Losing her balance Lefkítis fell to the ground with a horrible thud. She got up again, angrier than ever as she climbed the castle. She bit into his tail, sinking in her huge teeth. He lashed out back, and slammed Lefkítis in the stomach with his wing. She stumbled back, wheezing in pain as she gasped for air. When she caught her breath she noticed him attempting to fly away. She flew up and stuck him from the air with a blow from her side. He fell to the ground and Lefkítis landed on top. She put her claw to his throat. "Leave. Now" she said angrily. He nodded, sweating in fear. Lefkítis let go and the male dragon flew away. She gazed at the sky for a moment, when suddenly she heard humans screaming again, but not in fear. In anger. Lefkítis turned around and the humans where running at her with fire, arrows and weapons. Lefkítis stood no chance, the humans where convinced it was her who burned down their home. Lefkítis was in a better place when she woke up next morning, with her mother and all of her ancestors
