Phylox watched as she slid it over towards him. He slowly gripped the iPod and shuffled through the songs. These were basically all the bands he like. The smile that smudged his face before appeared again. He gently set the iPod back on the table infront of her. Phylox watched as she observed Annabel leave and it never clicked. "I never asked, what's your name?" He pulled out a sliver of paper and pen for her to write on...

Lara gently pulled the pen away from him and wrote her name on the paper, laying the pen back down when she finished. Her handwriting was beautiful, almost like calligraphy, but less intricate, still, she hated it as much as most other things. She looked up at him expectantly, waiting for some snide remark or something.

Izabell pulled out her MP3 Player and started listening to her favorite rock bands. She was bored, and she wanted something to do.

Annabel stopped skipping, realizing that Tristan was not following. "Are you coming?" she called to him.

Phylox watched her as she tugged the pen out of his hand. As she wrote with such grace, he noticed how wonderfully amazing she wrote. When she stopped, Phylox felt his jaw drop a bit. Quickly closing his mouth he whispered, "Beautifully amazing. And not just the writing..." He felt his cheeks become red from his blushing. As he stared at her he remember what Annabel had said, "Don't stare at Lara too much, you'll wear holes into her." He didn't care, she was amazing in all the right ways. Phylox waited for her to reply in some way to what he said, whether it was on paper or by leaving, he didn't care... he just wanted a response.

Lara kept her face blank to hide her shock. He's a great actor, she thought, taking another bite. Making a decision, she stood up, refusing to be a part of his joke any longer. She walked away to Nice Guys Finish Last{Cobra Starship! *fangs up*} taking a bite out of her apple every few moments.

Phylox looked shocked, disappointed, and confused all at the same time. As she nonchalantly took another bite of her apple and walked away, he felt the emotions truly wash over him. Lara nodded, a barely noticeable movement and stepped around him continuing on her way. She believed him, but she still didn't want to be around him right now. Her gait was lighter than usual as she continued to walk to the same song, she looked almost happy if you didn't see her face.

Scarlett looked over at Tristan and said,"You should probably get going...wouldn't want the headmaster to get mad." A grin made it's way onto Scarlett's face, and she pushed her salad aside. She wasn't to hungry, and it seemed with every bite, the food tasted worse. She took a sip of her water bottel, trying to get the horrible taste offf of her tongue, it not working to well. She leaned back on her seat knowing that she would be alone once Tristan left, like always.
