The Bitter Snows - High School (v. 1.2)

Bitter Snows; a small, winter-bound town, hidden in a valley next to the mountains. The town is surrounded by boreal forest, and rarely sees a time where there is no snow, with the exception of two or three months in the summer.

Despite the unforgiving climate, however, the people here are proud to call it home; you are one of those people, and you are now starting a new year in high school; maybe your first! Very few people end up leaving the town after graduation, but that's not to say no one will; what do you dream to be? What are you preparing for, and what will you become?

I suppose, this is the right place to figure that all out.

This is version 1.2 so it will match up with the current version of the original roleplay.

About nine months of the year - from late August until mid May - the town is covered by a blanket of thick, white snow. When the snow finally melts, it melts fast, and summer emerges in a blistering heat. There's a small lake near the bottom of the valley, which residents enjoy as a beach, since they love no where close to the coast; during the warm season, vendors will gather and a small fair-like setting forms. It only lasts a couple of weeks, in June and July, but it's short life-span makes it a favourite among the locals.

Another of the favourites, especially among the students, is the Cafe; it's a popular stop for lunch. Best sandwiches in town, they all say!

It is currently the beginning of September, and as usual, the ground is already blanketed with snow. Dress warm!
