Luminescence smiled slightly at his name. It sounded nice. She didn't say so and instead let her expression say everything.
She silently brushed aside the comment Grey made on her own name.
She fiddled with her hands for a moment before catching the look Grey was giving her. She knew that look all too well.
It was like someone from her pack asking if she was alright. Which in a way, Grey soon did.
"N-No..." She muttered.
Luminescence soon understood the silent question and hesitantly opened up her stats.
Everything but her name and HP was obscured by a dark cover.

HP 6/10

Technically she wasn't 'half-dead' as Grey had put it. But she was definitely teetering on the edge. Her HP was hardly that impressive, it used to have a much higher limit, but Lumi kept quiet about that.

Grey looked away, disappointed; She had lied. Instead of saying anything more, he fumbled a bit while grabbing his stuff,
not trying to look at his notebook in case it was torn, and Grey rushed outside, sniffing out to find the fox creature. Luckily he didn't have to look too long, and found the tall female. He looked up, and frowned. "I'm sorry.." Grey began.

Grey couldn't control himself, feeling terrible. "of course it is! I need to control my temper. All day you've been so nice,
and without another thought I had gotten angry. I know and watched you get hurt. I was awake when you ran." He put a hand by his cheek, wiping the slightest residue of a tear. He wasn't allowed to cry, after all. This no longer was about him. "I hurt you,
and I know I couldn't do anything, but it was still my body resuming the actions." Grey struggled to speak, finding stuff out of the cracks of his mind wasn't easy under pressure. "If it means anything.." he murmured, a little hesitant to state this, "your eyes are beautiful. I don't know why you would hide them."

genny winced as she got up, hopping after grey. she was silent for a bit after she had said they could have been friends, but grey had jumped be up before she could say anything. she couldn't even move her leg because that lumi girl hadn't healed her. she was fine with it. now, for some reason, death seemed better than burning down an entire school with her fire magic. genny went outside, spotting that fox she had seen earlier, and grey, who was talking to her. sighing, she awkwardly stepped in, not wanting to interrupt their conversation. "uhm, sorry to ruin your conversation, but i have something to say to grey.". she said quietly, looking down at her leg and flinching a bit. "i don't hate you. i don't hate anyone. it's just..". genny trailed off, looking at oasis. oh, how would she explain that she accidentally killed somebody and burnt down a school? how would she explain her burden, her sadness? genny wasn't sure, but was going to try. "i have to act this way. i killed a girl on accident, and burnt down my old school. you see why i'm a transfer student? i have to act like i hate everyone so i can keep what i did a secret. it feels terrible, having to hide yourself from everybody just to mask what you did." genny gritted her teeth, trying not to cry. she hadn't cried in months, maybe even more than that. there was no way she'd give in to the urge to cry. no way at all.

Grey froze, his hand up to his mouth, a bit shocked Genesis would spill a secret like that. Grey felt sorry for her, and almost wanted to hug her, but touching people was still a bit out of his comfort unless he was out of control or they forced him to. Grey was afraid of someone telling something about them, because then always feel like he is persisted to exchange information, but his secret of being a past killer of five monsters would forever be his own secret, no matter the situation. Even if it was a timeline which was erased to leave him all by himself and shouldn't matter as much since none of the people were actually existing, it still stuck with him by lingering the LV and affecting his soul. "Genesis.." He half whispered. "You.. why would you hide something like this? A heavy weight like this could do a lot of damage on ones soul.." Grey bit back a silent side comment, and instead mentally criticized his words. "Genesis, how long ago was this? Putting up this act might've avoided the problem of explaining but it wouldn't dodge the consequences.." He questioned, wanting to know how long she could have been hurting.

genny sighed when grey asked, nodding her head. "it was too hard to deal with the burden of her death. that's why i and hid it.. i was.. i was eight when she died.". she said quietly, thinking of the girl she had killed in her accident. "the.. the girl. she was named lila. she was so beautiful, she didn't deserve to die that day..". genny felt like she was going to cry. it wasn't fair that poor lila had to die because she hadn't known how to deal with her powers. genny put a paw on her face and wiped the tears on in her eyes away. not only did her leg still hurt, but the emotional pain of thinking about lila was too much for her. she remembered falling to the ground with heaving sobs, mourning the death of the girl. "i wish she was still here.." genny thought of when she left that school, and went to her next school after being homeschooled for five years. that was when she went into middle school, and soon went to high school after that. when genny was sixteen, that was when she burnt down her old school. it was hard, having to be the person who killed another monster and then burnt down a school. genny then began to feel tears sting her eyes soon after she had wiped the previous tears away.

Luminescence watched for a few moments as Grey approached Oasis. She quickly pulled her stats back, a slightly crushed look in her eyes. She'd done something wrong hadn't she?
'Of course you did. You always mess up, idiot.' The voice sneered at her from within her mind and she quickly forced it away before getting up.
She had healed Grey, but maybe he was mad at her because she'd gotten hurt in the process. It never seemed to matter any of the other times. This form was just weak because her others were much stronger.
After a few minutes of silently standing in the hallway, Luminescence turned away and walked to the bathroom.
When she got there, it was thankfully empty of anyone but herself.
'I don't care what you say about this.' She thought harshly.
