Minnow walked into camp, only to be washed over with a wave of congratulations by several different dogs. He smiled and murmured soft thank you's. Ricochet was one of the first dogs to meet him, a wide smile being worn by his previous mentor. "I'm super proud of you, you know, kiddo?" Ricochet barked as soon as the barrier of dogs slipped away back into their regular duties. "Yes, I know. Thank you for training me, Ricochet." Minnow barked gratefully, bowing her head in appreciation. Ricochet was taken aback by the sudden gratitude Minnow shown, but wasn't particularly hating it. Instead, he sparkled with pride. "How about we go on a border patrol while we're at it? After all, I'm free from keeping an eye on you every two seconds." Ricochet teased. "I was not that horrible that you needed to watch me every second." Minnow countered half jokingly. "But that'd be fine. I'd love to make both you and my pack proud." Ricochet let out a slight chuckle. "I'm afraid you already have."

Aurelius, the newest dog in Falling Leaves, watched over the Tenderpaws, feeling a twinge of nostalgia of the days when he was their age. Even though he had never been in a pack until now, he would always have competitions with his siblings on who can bring the most prey back, or who's the most strongest. Aurelius enjoyed teasing the Tenderpaws, as they'd believe a wide selection of things. Aurelius bounded up to one of the Tenderpaws, who had shaggy fur, like their mother, Lily's. Aurelius knew they were named Valentine, as Aurelius knew her for her distinctive coat. "Pssst, Valentine. I heard there was a family of foxes out in the forest. You better be good or else they might gobble you up." Aurelius barked jokingly, and it swiftly caught Valentine's attention. "Really? Well I'm not a lousy pup anymore, and I'll go and beat them up!" The Tenderpaw barked with enthusiasm, her eyes glinting with delight. "Oh, no no no. Don't do that." Aurelius replied hurriedly, shaking his head. "But I'll see you later, Valentine. Do me a favour and be good for your mentor, Cadeyrn." Aurelius grinned, and Valentine vigorously nodded her head. "Will do!" Valentine barked, wagging her tail. And when Aurelius was out of earshot, Valentine murmured under her breath, "just wait and see."

"Hey Beetle! Hey Pepper!" Valentine called out to her siblings, leaving her Shaman Tenderpaw sister narrowing her eyes curiously at them. Beetle and Pepper willingly bounded up to Valentine, their eyes glinting question. "What is it?" Pepper asked eagerly. Lowering her voice, Valentine continued. "Aurelius just told me there are foxes in our forest." Valentine whispered as a start. Beetle and Pepper's eyes widened, waiting for Valentine's next sentence. "And I thought we should go hunt them down! We'll show everyone how brave and strong we are, and we'll probably be Ironteeth before you know it!" Valentine exclaimed. Beetle shook his head. "It's too dangerous. Foxes are pretty much double the size we are. Let alone a whole group of them." Beetle retorted, Pepper nodding to his points. "Come on guys! No Tenderpaw has done this before, we can be the first!" Valentine barked. "Sorry, sister. But we're not going." Pepper muttered. "Fine. If you're not going, I'll go by myself." Valentine grunted. Beetle exchanged glances and let out a long sigh. "All right, all right. We'll go." Beetle caved in. "Thank you thank you!" Valentine squealed. "Here's the plan: when everyone is asleep, we sneak out of camp and go. You guys can go to sleep first, I'll wake you up when it's time. And then tomorrow, we'll be the bravest Ironteeth you've ever seen."

"You ready?" Valentine asked the two in a low whisper. Both Beetle and Pepper nodded. They started to sneakily slip out of camp, careful not to make any sound of some sort. The sky was dark and eerie, and the only light source they had was the glistening moon. Owls screeched from above, and shivering gusts of wind shot past. And in the midst of it all, were three apprentices, longing for adventure and suspense. "I'm getting bad vibes from this." Beetle softly whispered to Pepper, so Valentine - who was in the lead - couldn't hear. In the faint light, Beetle could see Pepper nod in agreement. Suddenly, low grumbles came from the bushes. A pair of glowing yellow eyes appeared, and as it lumbered into the light of the moon, Beetle could spot its filthy, short brown fur. A sinister grin appeared on the creature's face, and the three froze in fear. "A bear." Beetle anxiously choked out. "This can't be happening." But it did. The bear scented the three pups, and Pepper got a brutal slash in the side. She limped off, but Beetle and Valentine weren't so lucky. In their courageous mission to defeat a cluster of foxes, two lives were taken.

diablo laid sprawled across the highest rock that overlooked the pack camp, his massive form stretched, impressive muscles clear beneath the glossy pelt of the sovereign. the brute's sharp pair of eyes scanned the area, flicking past each dog that filtered through the camp, hastily dropped prey into the prey pile before being ordered back to either guard camp or go on a patrol.

It was rare that dogs were given time to rest in the day, so when Adonis had said that his own advisor needed to have two moons of simply soaking up sun and sleeping, he was inraged.

"Pathetic. My own advisor can't hold up his own weight." Diablo had snarled, as he watched Adonis tend to the male's leg, which appeared mangled, one part of his bone seeming to rather painfully jut out into a repulsive shape. It was clear a bone had snapped somewhere in the hindleg, though Diablo could care little for such things.

The mastiff let out a stiff whimper as the herbalist binded a long, thick stick to his leg, keeping the leg in place.

Diablo merely snorted at the whimper, turning his head as he snapped a final sentence before leaving. "I can't believe the gods had brought me you as my advisor.."

The muscly doberman only momentarily flicked an ear backwards as he recalled last night before prying his thoughts away from that and settling them onto the group that had begun to stride into camp, listening to the snarls and furious hissing of another dog—one he was not familiar with.

He leapt to his feet, broad chest puffing out as he saw what the group had brought in.

It was a she-dog, one of the was mainly of brindle except for a long white splash that ran from her neck down to her chest. She looked to be the age of a new subordinate, though was fighting as though she had been twice the age. Her body twisted around as she made efforts to snap at the dogs around her, letting out furious growls in the middle of her movements. She had even successfully managed to get a piece out of Anika, who leapt back with a yelp.

"What is the means of this?" Diablo bellowed, his voice splitting through the air like thunder.

All dogs attention flew to the sovereign, their eyes wide with alarm. Diablo's gaze remained hard as he waited for a response, though as one voice cried out, it was not who he had expected.

It was Faust, who raced towards the snapping loner. "Victurri, Victurri!" He cried with excitement. "It's you, oh, it's you!"

The mutt turned her head to stare at the brute that scrambled towards her, at first her eyes blazing with a fierce anger until she came to the realization of who the dog was. It was her brother. "Noble?" She asked uncertaintly, as the dog tumbled into her, she let out a almost pup like bark. "It is you! I thought I wouldn't ever see you again!" She said, tail wagging furiously.

"What is this all about?" Diablo suddenly snarled, snapping the family reunion in half. "Faust, who is this?"

"It's my sister, Sovereign Sir." He replied obediently, lowering his head in submission.

Fall:
Acorns have started to fall to ground as well as colorful leaves. Pup-birthings will start to get a little bit harder so make sure to stock up on pupping herbs like fennel, chervil, ragwort leaves and raspberry leaves

"You ready?" Valentine asked the two in a low whisper. Both Beetle and Pepper nodded. They started to sneakily slip out of camp, careful not to make any sound of some sort. The sky was dark and eerie, and the only light source they had was the glistening moon. Owls screeched from above, and shivering gusts of wind shot past. And in the midst of it all, were three apprentices, longing for adventure and suspense. "I'm getting bad vibes from this." Beetle softly whispered to Pepper, so Valentine - who was in the lead - couldn't hear. In the faint light, Beetle could see Pepper nod in agreement. Suddenly, low grumbles came from the bushes. A pair of glowing yellow eyes appeared, and as it lumbered into the light of the moon, Beetle could spot its filthy, short brown fur. A sinister grin appeared on the creature's face, and the three froze in fear. "A bear." Beetle anxiously choked out. "This can't be happening." But it did. The bear scented the three pups, and Pepper got a brutal slash in the side. She limped off, but Beetle and Valentine weren't so lucky. In their courageous mission to defeat a cluster of foxes, two lives were taken.

Dahlia walked along the western border, followed closely behind by Blue and Bastain. The boys were keeping a lookout while Dahlia put her nose to the ground and got to work. The pack's scent border was strong, but mixed with it was a slightly weaker rogue scent. The trio kept on their toes in case of attack, but Dahlia wanted to find this dog before it could cause any trouble. "Dahlia, it might be gone now," Blue suggested, but the female shot him a look that told him to shut up. They walked a couple of meters before hearing a faint growl within the bushes, but it was coated with a strange mixture of caution and dominance. Dahlia jumped into the bush, managing to catch the dog by surprise and knocking him out of the shrubbery. Bastian helped Dahlia pull the dog further out of the plantation while Blue stood there with a menacing look on his face. Dahlia quickly backed off, having no doubt that Bastian was capable of keeping the dog pinned to the ground. "You're in Slaughterhouse territory, mutt." Dahlia spat out, getting closer to the Kangal on the ground. The Kangal eyed her a snarled but Bastian quickly jumped up the dog's chest to kick him out of it. The male on the ground wheezed and coughed before finally being able to speak, "Yeah, I know I'm in your territory. I was going to join, but you've made that choice a little less favourable." He spat back at Dahlia. The female looked at the dog on the ground and her two companions, before narrowing her eyes and smiling. "Oh, you don't get a choice now. As of now, you are our prisoner. You have been placed as omega, mutt. You shall do as we command you, and don't try to escape. If you do, we will track you down and slaughter you."

Rowdy looked through the forest, watching as Lucetta ran around close by. It seemed that she was getting bigger every day, and he had no doubt that in a month or two she would be his size. He eyes her figure once more before looking to the growth in search of herbs. He really needed to start stocking up his supply, while he had managed to find some tansy and yarrow, it simply wasn't enough. Slowly but surely he made his way through the forest, casting off dying herbs that could have once helped, stopping every so often when Lucetta ran a bit too far away, but making sure he was watching. He looked around, when his eyes fell on a tall-stemmed thistle, the smell was sharp and its leaves were dark, immediately Rowdy knew what it was. He had managed to find himself some burdock root, which was a good find in case any dogs got into a fight. "Lucetta, come over here and carry this for me!" rowdy called out, watching as the young girl stopped chasing a butterfly to eagerly take the plant off of him. Rowdy let out a grunt-like laugh before continuing on searching. He had picked up the pace, starting to feel anxious and wanting to get back to the camp quickly. Soon another tall stemmed plant appeared within his vision, but it was different. It was a lighter colour and had large leaves shaped much like almonds. He identified it a Chickweed, a herb he was eager to grab for it helped treat greencough. He carefully dug out the plant, before turning in the direction of the camp. "Come on, Lucetta, we best start heading back," he told the boisterous pup, happy with his herb haul for now. Lucetta let out a small "Ok," careful not to drop the burdock root as she sprinted ahead.

Tank and Aster walked along the eastern border, watching as the hunting patrol started to surround the small herd of sheep. Their patrols were mostly in silence, and often uneventful, so when they went along the eastern border they often waited for the hunting patrol to come. Aster watched eagerly as Sova started to sprint, Koda copying her on the other side to split a sole sheep off into Esther and Roscoe's direction. Sova ran just slightly behind the sheep, aiming bites to its heels as it tried to get away. Koda ran along side the sheep on its left side, pushing closer in the direction of Roscoe. Tank perked up when he noticed the sheep had tried to jump, but Roscoe had already gripped the sheep's neck and weighed it down. Esther had managed to jump on the back of the sheep, sinking her teeth in, aiming to weaken the sheep. Soon the sheep was lifeless and the hunting party was already working on getting the sheep back to the abandoned building. Tank and Aster could her shouts of joy and excitement from the team, and Aster couldn't help but feel envious of them as they continued to patrol the eastern border.

The sun had started to rise and Aster had pestered Tank all night about getting the patrol done early, for reasons Tank hadn't been told. "So why did you want this patrol done at such an early hour?" Tank asked the overly excited Doberman with an annoyed tone in his voice. He hadn't been too happy went Aster had dragged him out of his 'bed' to follow through with her plans from the previous night. He had just thought that she was getting too excited and then bail on whatever she had planned. "Well, Dahlia added me to the hunting party for today, but I also have to do this patrol with grumpy old you. So in order to get this out of the way and do the hunting patrol, I figured we should do it at dawn. Plus, maybe something will happen early in the morning that we always miss out on." Aster said, bounding ahead of Tank as the male just sighed and started to walk.

Dahlia, Blue and Bastian were back at the western border, taking careful note of all the scents that were present. Since the previous month, Dahlia had instructed the pack to keep an eye on the new dog, which they had come to know of as 'Jack'. So far he hadn't been too much of a hassle, but he was kept trying to get into fights. He had been given some simple tasks often, clean the building, watch the camp, collect water, but also was sent off in patrols and hunting parties when he was needed. He hadn't tried to escape, but Dahlia wasn't sure how much she would be able to trust him before he saw an opportunity to leave. She focused back on the task ahead when Blue grunted, trying to pull her attention back to the fact they had just suddenly stopped while Dahlia had been thinking. "Come on Dahlia, no use worrying about Jake at this point. The whole pack is watching over him when you aren't there to do so yourself." Blue assured her, looking towards Bastian for a little support, "He's right, the pack is always watching him and they are more than capable of keeping him busy and still contained." the rottweiler added. Dahlia sighed, picking up the pace slightly as she looked ahead, "I guess you are right, but you never know..." her voice trailed off as she started to focus more on the scents and noise around her, trying to relieve herself from the nagging anxiety.

Rowdy walked through the forest, Lucetta was trotting at his side. She was getting as big as he had thought and she was around his size at that point, perhaps a little taller. Rowdy started to think about where she would be placed once she turned six months old, she had a fascination for herbs, yet she would be mighty useful for the hunters with her agile body and natural speed. He sighed as he watched Lucetta suddenly sprint after a bird, only time would be able to tell where she would truly belong.

Sova, Esther and Aster walked in a little group, chatting about the hunt ahead of them while Koda and Roscoe watched Jack carefully as they walked behind. The hunt for today was supposed to be good, Aster had told them that she and Tank had smelt a good amount of prey, but she couldn't quite remember what there was exactly. As always, when the group got in sight of the farmland they looked around eyeing the available prey before talking about their strategy. The group split off into their assigned positions before Koda started the hunt.

The sun was setting and colours were painted across the sky as Roscoe and Aster walked together near the southern border. Suddenly roscoe was fighting the nervous feeling in his body as they reached the small clearing he had found earlier in the week. He sat down, facing Aster and she did the same, looking at him with a smile. "So, Roscoe, what was it that you wanted?" Aster asked him, tilting her head slightly as she looked at him. "I-Well-I..." Her stare put him off, and she giggled a bit before he cleared his throat and looked at her again, "Well, Aster, I've gotten to know you over the past two or so months you, and I have been wondering for a while now. Would you want to try to be something more than just friends?" A huge weight seemed to have been lifted off of his shoulders, and he analyzed her face while she seemed to be thinking. All of her sudden, Aster's demeanour seemed to have changed, it was no longer that energetic and playful female, but this seemed to be a side of her that was flirty and perhaps a little cunning. "Maybe... but let's test something out first." Aster said, a sly look on her face. [ fade to black ] Aster looked to Roscoe, thinking for a moment before speaking. "Sorry, Roscoe, but I think it's better if we just stay friends". She said before walking off back in the direction of camp. There and then Roscoe sat, looking onwards with confusion as he felt his heart shatter into a million pieces. He walked slowly as he sulked all the way back to camp, trying to comprehend what had happened to him and what had happened to Aster.

Sahar had left the hunting patrol for them to bring their prey back to the den. As he marked the borders of his territory, he started noticing a strong, metallic smell. He quickly recognized the scent and was put into some worry. The Alpha followed the scent dilantently, coming right on the border of the territory. Right away, he noticed a large splat of drying dog blood. It seemed pretty fresh, perhaps a day or two old. 'This can't mean anything good...' He worried, contemplating on what to do. In the end, he decided to ask the packs for the member first and then investigate the source of the blood scent

Sahar sat in the same spot as last time and requested for a new member. Looking in the clear water of the cool stream, he felt a bit ashamed about his last request where he awaited some flawless, perfect mate and got Trix instead. Brushing off the memories the red husky declared I greet the sky packs and offer you my loyalty for the protection you give me.
