The tom nodded at the cat's thanks, but frowned at her question. "Well, yes actually. There's been a sort of illness that's fallen over our camp, and it seems that a lot of our warriors have already caught it. I'm sure our medicine cat knows what to do, but there's so many, I-" A flicker of doubt came into his mind. What if the illness was too hard to cure or too contagious? Would Asphondelleaf even have enough supplies to cure everyone? He quickly shook his head, not wanting to think about the possibility of something going wrong. "Nevermind, I'm just being paranoid," He muttered, focusing on the camp coming into view.

Firestrike listened to the two apprentices talk for a bit, and opened his eyes again when Woodenpaw offered to go hunting for them. He wanted to go help her out and maybe give her some more pointers, but one attempt at trying to get back to his feet made it clear that he was in no condition to do so. His paw still shot a wave of pain through his shoulder when he tried, and the world started spinning the moment he opened his eyes. He swore under his breath before laying down again with an irritated huff.

Poppyfern held on to Rabbit as she attempted to throw the smaller cat off, to no avail. She held on the best she could, raking at Rabbit's back with her hind legs while she held on with her front claws. Poppyfern didn't have enough time to react when Rabbit fell back, and was slammed into the ground, knocking the breath out of her. The calico got back to her feet, giving a small smile to the loner once she got her breath back. "Nice job Rabbit. You did better than I thought, seems I underestimated you. I don't think you'll need to worry about the test," Rabbit seemed to know more in the way of fighting than the calico had originally thought, and she was genuinely surprised at some of her techniques. She would make an amazing warrior in no time.

Honeypaw listened carefully to what Moonshade had to say and observed her pose again, nodding in understanding.
"Ohh, okay! Let me try it again!" She stretched momentarily before attempting the crouch again, making sure to try and spread her weight evenly and holding her tail down lower. She felt like she could fall over if she lifted a paw and she shook slightly because of inexperience, but overall hoped that she had it down. She turned back in her mentor's direction, but picked up an odd scent in the air, causing her to make a face. Getting back on her feet, Honeypaw chirped, "What's that smell Moonshade? I didn't notice it earlier?"

The tabby slowed his pace to a trot once he arrived in an unfamiliar part of the woods. The trees around him loomed farther overhead than he had remembered them doing, and the squishy, mossy ground underneath felt like he was walking on fresh kill. Sunbeams filtered through overhead, but the little bit of light they provided did nothing to help him, seeing as he was used to the bright city lights in the twolegplace. He could hear creatures running around him, but he wasn't able to catch any proper looks at them before their steps silenced. Axl felt his fur prickle in anticipation as he heard a heavier set of steps come nearer to his location, unable to recognize them as cat steps in his panic. He stopped himself from calling out a "who's there?" out of fear of attracting a predator, and instead held his breath in hopes that they would pass him by.

The dark tom purred a bit, glad that Leafflame was excited about the new cat who joined. Shadedheart headed over to the fresh-kill pile, noticing it was rather low. "We should go hunting soon." Shadedheart said, taking a plump rat from the pile. Like Shadedheart, it was slightly oversized. With the rat still in his jaws, Shadedheart asked, "Want to share?"

Watersong purred. "Neither am I, sister, but I'm sure Rabbit can't be any better! Besides, it could mostly be to get to know her. I'd like to see what she's been through." Watersong said, excitedly. She just loved the thought of new cats in the Clan.

"Right..." Beavertail said, his usually smooth voice rough. On the way back to camp, Beavertail couldn't help but to feel embarrassed by his poor hunting. He hoped he could catch some prey and maybe share some with Dustsong, but no. He had to catch this painful cough.

She understanded that Mossclan needs more cats, but is this little too pathetic that they just drap the loners who don't even know what they want to join. So there could be more cats to fight against Pineclan if the war starts.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Spottednose said. He flicked his ear towards the fresh-kill pile where his friends were eating. "The big black tom is Shadedheart, my best friend and the most loyal tom in this Clan. He's eating with his mate, Leafflame, and the silvery she-cats are Silverstone and Watersong. They love new Clanmates." Spottednose told the black tom.

Spottednose then pointed his tail over to Brightstar, who was minding their own business.
"That's Brightstar, our leader. He has the final say in who joins and who doesn't.
Even I listen to him." The gray and white tom then stopped. That was about as much he'd like to tell the black tom about his Clanmates.

Dustsong nodded in agreement and started to lead Beavertail and Hollowmist back to camp. She traveled slowly so that they had time to react to things and during the whole journey she kept looking back at them and hovering beside them to make sure they were okay. It was almost like a mother with her two sick kits.
