Kora nodded after Ryse’s retreating form. She didn’t mess anything up, though,Kora thought, what is she talking about? Kora sighed, she felt guilty about the entire situation. If she hadn’t left Ryse to talk to EP, none of this would of happened! She felt something nuzzling her leg. She looked down to see it was a small faun. It was one of the fauns she’d bred, Peridot. She’d lamed the rest of its litter crystal gems also. She stopped down and gently stroked the baby deer.

Ryse walked deep into the woods and sat in the grass. Though her flames were burning at a temperature that would normally destroy grass and even burn trees down, this grass, though it caught on fire, didn't burn or spread.
After a moment, Ryse let her control over the flames slip and she was suddenly enveloped in a burning storm of fire.
The heat felt good and helped Ryse relax after holding her flames back for so long.

Blue looked up just in time to see his house come into view. "Oh! That's my house!" He said, pointing to a pale yellow house.

Ryse felt her wings flare to life at the heat returned to them. After a moment of letting the heat circulate throughout her body, Ryse spread her wings out beside her and let them rest, splayed out, on the grass.
A few animals seemed unafraid of her and dared to venture close to her wing tips. They didn't stay long and soon left after she didn't react to their presence.
Eventually, Ryse laid down on the grass. It was surprisingly soft and remained that way even as her scorching flames touched it.
