I have so much muse to make a roleplay. Some type of animal roleplay, not a one/two liner, possibly cat, dog, or pokemon roleplay but I can't think of a name. I'm basing it off the song Fireflies by Owl City

Theres no decent Roleplays that are new, Most of the good ones already have like 50 pages

Oh and i just saw a person posting their character on one rp and the character was 11 years old with huge tattoo on her back and she was an emo XD

yeah most of the rps i am part have 50 pages and although very few of my rps enjoy success mainly because the people part of them do not post very often and i had user get grounded and is still grounded by their mom so i told them they aren't in the rp anymore they have been grounded for like a few weeks it was getting to be ridiculous so i ended having to tell them that they can't be in the rp anymore.

Actually, that's a little unfair. A few years ago I was grounded by my parents for about a month, and later on my computer had crashed and I couldn't get on for over two months, so I couldn't reply to any RP's. I'm sure that I wouldn't be very happy if somebody threw me out just because I was grounded.

I have a few gripes I would like to get off my chest, actually...

I hate how everyone posts pictures of their characters that are always beautiful (or emo when it is waaaay out of context). Why are all the female characters cheeky and full of the sass? Why are they flirty? I just don't like those female stereotypes... Male stereotypes fly with me, for some reason, but these girls just don't feel real to me or they don't stay true to their character over time.

Also, I've decided I really dislike people who post one liners in role plays and don't use punctuation. It drives me nuts XD I also secretly dislike those people who are wonderful at role playing but because of their awesomeness they have better things to do and don't get online everyday. Actually, I don't dislike them, I just wish they were online more so I could ogle them and appreciate their writing prowess.

yeah i hate the flirty characters i usually have female characters that are strong they can fight take care of themselves but will still accept help from others once in while. although i do try to be elves for most of the fantasy rps i am in.

elves are just naturally handsome and pretty at least JRR tolkien's elves are.

but the characters that irk me the male character that only insult your own characters start fights constantly. i hate characters like that not because i don't like violence trust i like having battles in rps just not all the time like seriously they can't even give it rest for few hours or something. i am just saying that after three days of the same character punching people breaking chairs over peoples heads and stabbing people is a bit much and it starts to old after a while.

But at least you're striving for variety, right? I mean, role playing with the same person who will use a character ref that is essentially the same but will change the name/hair color etc. so that they can have "different" characters is a little bit tedious.

Something else that annoys me is having your character told to "Stay here" during a battle scene/something exciting, when they are not disabled or incapable in any way. If the character was in a coma or dead, it would make sense. Not that roleplaying comatose/dead people makes sense. It's just an example... -ahem- I guess I could just ignore it and be like "No, I think I'm going to come with you because I have all four appendages and a pulse, therefore I am awesome and such which," but I just don't want to try doing something that people clearly don't want me to partake in. Bah. It has been a bad role playing month thus far. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I was grounded for a few days, and the only active RP I'm in... well, it's nothing I can't catch up on, I just feel bad because someone tried to talk to my character and I didn't respond for a long time D:

How all of my RP's always fall flat because either no one ever joins, or the people who do join never post.
I might just give up on RP'ing.
