I cannot wait for this litter to finish. I love the little details on top of a plain design. Gonna be hard to top the orange one though, the face and markings are lovely.

Wow. So two old babies? I'm going through the archives but I'm not seeing any pup that was a baby this long. o.O
There are a lot of dogs though.

This months pet growths seem very odd with the amount of splits, so the old babies don't surprise me. This month is very different!

Adults: Pointy grass dog from Jan 09 and the orange circle Vampiric dog from Sept 09 became puppies at age 18

PPSes: Blue merle(?) PPS from March 09 became a puppy at age 20; Candycane 2nd gen PPS became a puppy at age 21

Staff: Malk's 2009 staff dog became a puppy(...????) at age 19

Other: All gray Jan 09 second gens were under the blanket for more than 20 days, but that was deliberate

Only looked through 2008 and 2009; not gonna trudge through the other 8 years LOL

Man I didn't have the greatest luck with this month's pets. All of my cats turned into this outcome, though I do really like its design :3


Also I missed quite a few other outcomes.

There are a good number of splits this month! I can't wait to see what the next split blue dog will look like!

I'm just... really surprised. I use CS as a calendar of sorts and most dogs are puppies when day 15, the middle of the month hits.

I get a rush of knowing the month is nearing its end as I see more and more adults and almost no more puppies. You can see how the late growing ones throws off a rhythm of sorts but it looks like this sort of thing is not amazingly rare, just rare. Maybe once or twice a year. Also, 29 days is crazy.

Here's another two 29 day blankets from 2016. So maybe this Jan baby will also be a PPS? Seems to be a theme with the late growers.
