Lark snorted and and kept creeping around the barn. She didn't speak of her past, that's what made her mysterious. She was broken, but let little to few people ride her. She had been on her own for a while and was still very untrusting. Her forelock fellover her face. She turned and walked back into the light, this time stepping into the barn and sniffed around it. She was uneasy, but settled. She saw the dogs and stepped back.
Apollo stayed quiet, watching her. He shot a glare at the dogs to keep quiet, so they wouldn't scare her. The Friesian shifted his weight and balanced on three hooves, resting one.

"I hope so. Gods know I have seen too many owner's hands in my day." he said quietly as the wild mare stepped into the light. He looked at her but stayed quiet await her to make the first move.

"yep ive been abused to many times to go through more owners"she nickered a tear rolled down her face rembering all the owners "plus some stallions said they loved me but then turned there backs on me when i could stand the pain of a riding crop anymore" another tear followed the last one
