Kora nodded and carefully stroked Ryse's wing. It felt like...silk. It wasn't even that hot. She stroked the wing for several minutes before pulling her hand away and staring in wonder.
"Awesome!!!" She quietly squealed then asked, "Do you mind if I sit with you?"

"W-whoah, thanks!" He uncapped the strawberry stuff and sniffed it. It smelled amazing. Taking a spoon, hoping he was eating it right, he stuffed some in his mouth. The taste was heavenly. He was truly ascending, becoming one with time and space. Blinking a couple of times, he smiled and started practically inhaling the food.

Ryse pulled her wing in close to her back and let her body temperature go up a few degrees. It was odd to have someone touch her wings, or any part of her really. No one ever made physical contact with her, mostly out of fear of being burned. Ryse snapped back to the present when Kora asked her something. She had no idea what the human had asked, but agreed anyway and scooted away so she wouldn't burn Kora if her flames got hot.
"Oh and uh. Don't touch my wings whenever you feel like it, okay? I had to specifically cool them down so they wouldn't burn you." Ryse rolled her shoulders as her temperature rose once again. She kept it at a moderate temperature, enough to keep her warm, but no enough to burn anything.

He smiled and held his head in his hand, eating a fry. "These are disgusting." He mumbled.

He didn't say anything as he carefully tore open the chips, grabbing one of the triangles. He broke it into a few small pieces and popped them into his mouth. He swung his legs under the seat like a 1st grader, happily CROMNMCHING on the chips.

Kora nodded in agreement and sat near the Phoenix monster, still in awe. She instantly snapped out her sketching pencils, Prisms Color pencils, and sketchpad. She than set to wait drawing Ryse, inspired by her absolute beauty. She looked up before starting to see that Sans had levitated her tray over to her using his magic. When she looked over to him, he gave a thumbs up. Kora stuffed a bagel in her mouth and set to work, enjoying the comfortable heat radiating from Ryse.

Ryse glanced at the tray and then at the short skeleton. She'd never seen him before to day. To be honest, she'd never seen anyone here until today. Anyway, Ryse was pretty sure he was the one who'd taken the taller skeleton to the nurse. Eventually, she got tired of guessing and turned to Kora.
"Who's that?" She asked and gestured toward the skeleton monster. Ryse briefly wondered if that was an appropriate question to ask a new acquaintance and quickly assumed that it was. She had, after all, let Kora touch her wing.

"Oh," Kora replied, "That's Sans! The taller skeleton with him is Papyrus. They're brothers, and Sans is older than Papyrus. Surprising, right?" She pointed to each of them as she said this. She then continued to shade the drawing she had made of Ryse. When she was done, she gave it to the Phoenix girl.

Ryse nodded as she received this new information about the two skeletons. "Hmm...okay then." She filed that information away and glanced at Kora's drawing. Perhaps she could make a better version of that phoenix. She reached into her backpack, which was conveniently place just beside her. After a few minutes of rummaging through the pack, Ryse pulled out her sketch pencil and the piece of paper, both of which, she set beside her as she searched for her actual drawing book.
Ryse flinched when a paper suddenly came into her line of sight and quickly extinguished the heat of her flames and took the drawing from Kora. "Oh...thank you. This is really good." Ryse examined the recreation of herself on the paper and couldn't help but to notice all of the detail in it.

“No problem! And, thanks,” she replied. She then continued to munch on some chips. She looked nervously around the room. No one seemed to be paying them any attention. Well, except for Sans. However, as soon as she caught him staring intently at the interaction taking place, he snapped his head around to look the other way. She just shrugged it off and continued to watch Ryse draw.
