Ryse fluttered into the school courtyard with an orange and red backpack in her flaming hand. The humanoid phoenix monster gazed about at her surroundings and a small frown etched onto her face. It was disappointing that after finally being 'set free' from foster care, Ryse had only been shipped off to some high school she'd only ever heard of once before. Ryse knew she could certainly survive off of thievery and her basic abilities to 'live off the land'.
She distantly remembered that she was in fact at a school and began to wonder what class everyone was in. As a transfer student, the flaming monster was utterly clueless but figured that wandering around until she found someone helpful would be the best way to go. So that's what Ryse did. She got herself mentally prepared and began toward the school entrance.
