Hello! I'm not sure if this is just a problem for me or not, but the past two times I've had an auction thread I haven't had an auction in a certain amount of time and the thread got deleted to make way for new ones. Which is all well and good, but annoying because I have to recode a new thread and try to remember the rules I had for my other auctions.
So I'm wondering if some sort of automated system could get set up so it warns you a week in advance or something like that of your topic being deleted? This doesn't have to be for just auction threads, it can be for any thread. And can have the ability to get turned off, so if people want a thread gone they don't have to get the notice. But I think this might be helpful so people don't have to lose the time and effort they put into a thread.
Again, I'm not sure how many people actual have this problem besides me, so please let me know what you guys think!

Support!
I know if I was suddenly unable to be online enough to host frequent auctions, I would be very upset if my thread were to be deleted without me having the chance to save it. I record all of my auction trades in my auction thread, for informational purposes for both myself and others. It comes in handy when helping people with the value of pets and items. If all of that info was suddenly deleted, I would be very sad, and probably off-put enough to take a long break from participating in auctions or other forums, depending on where it happened.
I also code my threads quite a bit to make them look nice, so if all that work were suddenly gone it would be a real hassle.
I understand that threads must be deleted regularly to keep things organized and nice, but it would be great if when the mods wanted to delete a (rule abiding) thread that's been inactive, if it would alert the creator of said thread and then automatically delete after X amount of time it if the owner didn't stop it somehow. Especially if the thread looks well-maintained or cared for, but is maybe slightly inactive. But for threads that are spam/inappropriate/etc and NEED to be deleted pronto, perhaps there would be a override option where the alert isn't offered and the thread immediately deleted. That way the Mod's judgement is still in play and can be used where they see necessary.
Great idea, gallifrey falls.!

Perhaps add that these threads are deleted after 3 months of no activity, and that it's done by a robot? Some people get quite alarmed when they learn that threads are deleted, and then they think a mods sitting there individually deleting threads after a week or so. I don't want people getting the wrong impression, haha, although a warning would be nice for those active members who just forgot their thread.

Support! Reminders are always nice.
In the meantime, maybe save your threads' coding somewhere every so often? A draft, a file on your computer, cloud storage, etc.
Was your pet adopted December 18, any year, or December 24, 2011? It is most likely an older pet! CLICK ME to identify your pet!

Yes please. Would be good to know what got removed so you don't spend half an hour searching for a non existent topic.
Though I would suggest extending this to bookmarks and possibly marked topics. So topics you are following you would also know about if they got pulled.
