Quietstar chuckled lightly smiling as she thought about her mate, she faintly wondered where he was and if he was feeling any better. "That would be helpful." she said gazing over at the loner. "Make sure those kits get away from them too.." she said frowning slightly. "Once we get the loner out of our camp I think i'll do their apprentice ceremonies.. I almost forgot with all the excitement going on today." she said her gaze moving to sweep over the cats in camp quietly thinking of who would be the best mentors for the three kits. Perhaps some of her older warriors? Or maybe one of the younger ones could get their first apprentice? She flicked her tail as she thought, staring out carefully.

Swiftleap pawed at her playfully as she moved closer to him not realizing what she had in mind. He widened his eyes feeling his pelt and ears get hot. He blinked at her nervously but kept their position still with their noses touching. After a few long moments he nudged them both back up to the surface to breath.

The large brown tabby hesitated, glancing up at the sky as well for a moment. "I think we got a good chunk of training out of the way concerning things like this." he said. "Why don't we head back to camp? Unless you have anymore questions?" he asked tilting his head. Hawktalon glanced around surveying the area around them, though he was confident all dangers were gone from their territory you could never be too sure.

Reedgaze looked around camp trying to spot the two she-cats. "Yeah I guess you're right." she said. "I mean.. I thought about Eaglefrost.. He is Quietstar's mate but I guess you can't make someone your deputy just because they're your mate. I guess she'd like to have support from her mate and a deputy separately. It would get tiring to have to do everything on their own." she said. She then nodded slowly "Your choices make more sense though." she said. "At the very least one of them could have a shot at a senior rank?" she offered.

He chuckled, nuzzling her "I'm too good?" he echoed. "I think you're the one whose mistaken Nightleaf." he purred. "What could I have possibly done to deserve you?" he asked purring happily. "I felt like the luckiest tom in the whole camp when I got assigned to you.. I was worried with so many cats.. That I wouldn't be lucky and i'd have to watch you with someone else.." he admitted glancing away sheepishly. He gave his chest a few embarrassed licks before he looked at her again.
