"Yeah,lets."Remus said automatically,shooting a meaningful look at Sirius.

"Go on, Nessa." Laughed Adam at his best friend. "I know you're dying to run around."

Nodding enthusiastically, Nessa was the first one off the train; she zoomed off, letting all her bottled-up energy out. It felt so good to be moving!!!!

"FREEDOM!!!!"

It was at that moment that she ran right into Professor McGonagall.

Exiting the train,Sirius burst out laughing when Nessa ran into Pproffessor McGonnagall

"Miss Ranson!" Barked the professor sternly.

"Do watch where you're going!"

"I'm-I'm-Sorry!" Nessa stammered. "I was so glad to b-be b-back! It won't happen again! I promise! Cross my heart and hope to die!"

Nessa drew an invisible X over her heart with her index finger.

Professor McGonagall's face softened for half a millisecond.

"Alright, since it's the first day, you're off the hook! No more shenanigans!"

Nessa did a military-solute. "Yes ma'am!"

"Alright, then. Off you go."

Nessa nodded and marched to the eating hall like a soldier, while Adam was trying not to die of laughter.

"Your friend is hilarious."Sirius grinned to Adam,watching Nessa.

Lily hopped off the train and marched away, her trunk dragging behind her. She glared at Sirius before tossing her hair back and sticking her nose in the air, passing them as soon as she could. It was stupid to have sat with them on the train. What was she thinking? It mustve been the trains fumes, that was all. She left the others to walk alone. It was better than being with them any day.

((Will they take the carriages, or go straight to the castle?))

James exited the train behind Sirius and Remus. He watched with an amused smile as Nessa ran into Minnie.


(I'm so happy I knew what Nessa was saying earlier. Guess Spanish 1 does pay off. ^^)

Cheers came from the great hall as the hat finished, and the sorting began.
