"Hopefully the time for that will come soon." Quietstar replied simply nodding slightly as she spoke. Her gaze shifted over camp picking out a few hunters, perhaps they could do with some more warrior training after all.. They hadn't had any since they were apprentices and then were made hunters.. Glancing back at Wrentalon she cracked the smallest of smiles and nodded "That's just because he takes up so much room." she said softly. "He needs two nests." she joked. She chuckled softly before she fell into a comfortable silence, looking out at the camp for a few moments before she shook herself. "We'll get this loner out and perhaps you could organize the last patrols for the day?" she offered.

Swiftleap grinned and launched himself at her through the water laughing as he tackled her and wrapped his paws around her the way she had him. He pulled them both back underwater trying his best not to laugh more and inhale water. The last thing he needed was to make a wrong move in front of Tigerpool. The large brown tabby hesitated, glancing up at the sky as well for a moment. "I think we got a good chunk of training out of the way concerning things like this." he said. "Why don't we head back to camp? Unless you have anymore questions?" he asked tilting his head. Hawktalon glanced around surveying the area around them, though he was confident all dangers were gone from their territory you could never be too sure.

Reedgaze looked around camp trying to spot the two she-cats. "Yeah I guess you're right." she said. "I mean.. I thought about Eaglefrost.. He is Quietstar's mate but I guess you can't make someone your deputy just because they're your mate. I guess she'd like to have support from her mate and a deputy separately. It would get tiring to have to do everything on their own." she said. She then nodded slowly "Your choices make more sense though." she said. "At the very least one of them could have a shot at a senior rank?" she offered.

That I wouldn't be lucky and i'd have to watch you with someone else.." he admitted glancing away sheepishly. He gave his chest a few embarrassed licks before he looked at her again.

☞WRENTALON padded alongside her leader to the entrance, as quiet as a ghost. Her own watchful green gaze vigilantly scanning across the cats milling about the camp. As the discussion shifted towards her littermate for a moment, the lithe calico didn't even attempt to hide her amusement. "He's insufferable that one. Always whining about everything being too small or too tight." she agreed, chucklingly lightly. If anything could lift the mood, it was joking about Eaglefrost with his mate. After. few more moments of silence, the pretty she-cat turned to face Quietstar as she spoke, nodding eagerly. "I'd love to. Anything I can do to keep us moving forward and to make life a bit easier for you." she conceded. Wrentalon peered out at the strange loner. "Would you like me to deal with this?" she offered softly, not wanting to bother her leader with such a trivial thing as running off an unwanted individual.

Robinflight gave a respectful cheer at the announcement of the new deputy. He watched as the she-cat accepted her new position. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see a hint of envy on Maplestrike's face. Without saying a word, the tom leaned over and rested his chin on top of her head. His eyes blinked slowly, feeling a different emotion towards Maplestrike than he had this morning. As his gaze shifted upward, he noticed something moving near the camp entrance. The scent was unfamiliar and very unpleasant. Robinflight's fur rose. "Who is that?" He hissed quietly, tail lashing violently behind him.

Brindleleaf gave a slight shrug at the tom's response. "We all have done things we aren't proud of. It just so happens that what Lionfang did was a little extreme." Her words were soft as she spoke. The calico she-cat wrapped her thick coated tail around her small paws. Listening carefully as Elmwind began to speak. "Nothing new." She began, sighing lightly, "Just not enjoying thinking about how I'm so much older than most of these warriors and hunters." A hearty laugh escaped her mouth. "What I would give to be a young apprentice again!"
