Noticing his apprentice approaching him out of the corner of his eye, he smiled at Adderhead and asked -- somewhat of a question,"I'll see you later, alright?" The dark-furred tom glanced down at Featherpaw and smiled warmly, purring softly in greeting. "Featherpaw, sorry I wasn't able to train you today. I promise there's always tomorrow," Shadowblaze said and flicked his tail-tip in confirmation. "Goodnight, Featherpaw."

Feeling the times of their ears getting warm, they offered a sheepish smile and only nodded in response. The apprentice found herself at a loss for words, and Willowpaw could only shake their head before heading off to the bedding of feathers they had laid out earlier under the stars.

Frostpaw was one of the first to wake, as per usual. Going through his usual daily routine, he counted and mentally noted what medicine they had and how much they had in stock. He walked out of the den, taking the time to stretch his legs. He sighed heavily - he was thinking of gathering more herbs, but decided it was ultimately best for him to stay in camp, lest an emergency happened.

Strikepaw woke up early, at the break of dawn. After all, she had a meeting today. She carefully treaded across the small sea of sleeping apprentices, doing her best not to wake anyone. After exiting the the apprentices' den, she started to make her way to the camp's exit. She hoped nobody saw her.

after a deep, peaceful sleep, paired with dreams of becoming a warrior that laurelclan could become proud of, featherpaw awoke and took a moment to stretch out her limbs. cautiously and silently, she made her way through her resting clanmates to pad out into the clan camp. "good morning frostpaw." she greeted softly, aware that she didn't get along that well with the apprentice. however there was absolutely no wrong in being polite and kind.

Strikepaw successfully hurried out of camp, seeing that nobody had spotted nor questioned her leaving. It took a while before she navigated to the big boulder that was her meeting place with Ginger. Her strength was speed, not directions. She waited patiently, curling her tail around her paws.

Ginger slowly opened her eyes. Since everything but the front half of her head was covered with sand, she was practically invisible. She got up and shook her pelt out. Remembering what she had done the other day, she was prepared to wait, but walked around the boulder, and smacked into the apprentice. "Sorry!" squealed Ginger.

Strikepaw squeaked upon being bumped into, but perked up immediately upon recognizing Ginger. "Hiya! Glad you didn't ditch me after all! Are you ready to tell me stuff about cities? C'mon!" the young female blinked a few times in surprise. she had been expecting a somewhat blunt response, but it still threw her off a little, especially as she was only saying hello. "no," she answered, a little embarrassed, "I just wanted to greet you and be nice." with a dip of her head in respect, she padded away, doing her best to hide that she felt quite dejected.
