Solus grinned and chuckled slightly, following close behind her. When they reached the den he flopped down and licked his paw, curling up on the floor like a cat. He let out a deep sigh, realizing how tired he was. He looked at Stella once again and smiled. "Goodnight." he murmured, and closed his eyes. He immagined himself flying on a cloud, drifting through the sky.

Stella smield gently and snuggled close to him, his scent reminding her of down below, but she was lost in this world already, but then her mind was brought back to her, but she shook her head softly, not wanting to alarm Solus, she soon closed her eyes and started to drift asleep, "Goodnight.." She mumbled gently licking his forehead gently.

Stella awoke the next morning a bit apprehensive, she looked at the deer carcass that was still by the entrance of the den, she sat up and began eating a bit of it, not wanting to wake Solus.

Solus woke up and yawned, stretching out. He glanced at Stella, who was eating at the deer. He sighed and smiled, watching her. He got up and sat down by her, eating a few bites as well. He wasn't actually hungry, but he could use some spare energy in case he got tired after training. After eating he licked his lips, trying to clean the blood away from them.

Stella smiled and nudged him with her shoulder gently, then finally rested her head on his shoulder, "Solus.." She said getting his attention, "I'm carrying pups.." She said gently closing her eyes for a moment, not wanting to scare him too much.

Solus looked at at Stella and licked her head. "Yes?" he answered, but froze as she told him about the pups. He flattened his ears against his head and looked slightly away. "Eh, who's the father?" he asked, not actually believing he was going to be a father himself. He shrugged slightly, but looked deep into her eyes.

Stella blinked slowly, her golden eyes scared but happy on the inside, she closed her eyes for a moment, "Y-You.." She finally muttered, looking down a but, closing her eyes a bit tighter, scared a bit to hear with he'd say, she pressed her ears to her head. But she was a bit clam on the inside, it made her happy to know he'd probably stay by her side, but she didn't know.

Solus pulled away from Stella, his eyes wide as she said HE was the father. "H-how? W-when?" he stammered, backing until he hit the den wall. Then he shook his head, closing his eyes for a moment. "I'm... The... Father?" he managed to say, but didn't change his expression. He remained in that position for a long while, then his eyes softened and he smiled slightly. He crept up to her side and licked her softly. "That's great news, Stella." he said and huddled close by her side.

Stella looked up and was a bit scared by his initial reaction, once he was against the den wall she then felt a whole world different, she felt a bit sad on the inside, maybe she shouldn't have told him.. But she eased as she came to her side, "I thought you'd be mad or something.." She said softly nudging her head under his chin with a small smile.
