- ☞Aspen watched the girl, noting immediately the shift in tone. Confused, the blonde turned away from the stall to face Elizabeth, her brow furrowed in curiosity. Had she done something to offend her? The young woman was put off by the sudden harshness that the girl portrayed and she flinched back slightly, pulling in on herself. "No I-I didn't mean... Of course you know as much as I do about warmbloods, maybe even more..." the girl back tracked, not wanting to make things worse than she already had. Aspen frowned, afraid to make eye contact with this other woman, fearful of what sort of disgust or malice might be lurking in the depths. The pretty blonde frowned, watching the woman walk off. She glanced back at the stallion, her eyes murky and dark. "I'm sorry boy. I didn't mean to upset her." she murmured to the gray warmblood, throughly lost. Aspen had never been good at interacting with other people. In fact, she found it quite taxing as she constantly worried about her appearance and what others thought of her. Speaking to horses was just far more easier for the young woman as they couldn't judged and only met your gaze with deep, gentle, soulful eyes. You could tell a horse all of your problems and they would take the secret to their grave, never judging you. The blonde turned away from the stall, making sure the take a few steps closer to Chevy who still appeared to be talking to the new young man. Hopefully she hadn't witnessed that awkwardly painful exchange as Aspen couldn't risk losing two potential friends in the span of five minutes.
