Yarne also is afraid of anything, ranging from the enemy to insignificant things. He often tries to find a safe place to be in, such as being allied behind strong people or an area with no hazards at all. Like his mother, Panne, Yarne is able to detect friend or foe from a distance. In the Summer Scramble, it is discovered that Yarne has a fear of hot water (shown in his supports with Inigo) and he is convinced he'll slip and fall into hot springs and roast to death, despite Inigo saying the water was not that hot. Once he finally falls down into the water, he overreacts and panics, stating that his fur is "hot, wet, clingy and gross" and that he's absolutely sure that he's going to die. Despite this, and when he really puts his heart into a battle, Yarne is quite strong, especially when he protects someone he cares about. He is the loudest person in the army.
