Devilpaw was a bit miffed by that but let Vinepaw go in and then turned to find Fawnstep.

Banditpaw was glad the clan members were back and now to go on with the plan. He stalked out of camp carefully making sure no one noticed him and then padded towards a tunnel he made. "This should get me out of here," he whispered silently.

Fawnstep heard Magmastar enter camp and came out to investigate. She walked up to Devilpaw. "where is the rest of the clan?" she questioned.

Sunkit had fallen asleep and was now in her nest.

"They're coming, Vinepaw just came from the Gathering and so did the others," she mewed and then yawned sleepily. "Ugh I don't want to sleep," she murmured stubbornly.

[Bushidog]

"You should..." fawnstep murmured. She yawned too, suddenly realizing how tired she was too... after running all the way to the gatheringplace and then back with barely a break between.... then coming back to camp just to worry and mope. "I think I might go to sleep, acually." Tail brushing the ground, fawnstep licked Devilpaw's cheek as a goodnight then went back into the nursery.

Devilpaw nodded and then padded into the apprentice's den. She found her nest, cool from her not being in it and circled it a few times before she layed down and fell asleep.

Banditpaw was digging in the tunnel. "I'll miss you Vine, Devil, Fern, heck even you Leopard, but I gotta go,"

Leopardpaw shrugged. "I can't feel my leg anymore."

Magmastar was shaking as she stumbled in to the medicine cats den.

"I'm sorry," Vinepaw mewed feeling bad for him. "Leopardpaw," she mewed shyly turning her head halfway away. "I hope this doesn't seem..." she searched for the right word, but couldn't find it. Flustered, she started again. "Leopardpaw, I really like you. I mean really like you...." she choked out the words. She sounded like Sagefeather! Pushing away a wave of embarrassment, she continued. "Banditpaw's a nice friend and all, but Leopardpaw," she turned to him, her eyes filled with loving gray stars. "You're the cat I want to share my life with."
