I never thought I'd end up posting here...

Mmkay, so the first line in my trade rules is

My hoards are open, only so you can know what I want. Do not offer on them.

A bit farther down, we have

Since some people lack common CS sense, I've changed the names of my hoards. People, the first rule in my trades was 'HOARD open~' groups are not for trade. Where in that did you see that it was okay to offer on them?
Actually, in what way does it make sense for me to trade away my hoard pets at all? I spend months searching for decent offers to get ten, twenty of a pet, and ya'll think I'm just going to turn them into trade fodder? Idjits.

The group the curl-tail is in is titled 'HOARD unfinished~ The Garden (incomplete sets) (NOT FOR TRADE).
I edited the trade, pointing out that my rules said not to offer on this group. (or any other hoard, for that matter) and asked if they'd take something else instead, and they cancelled without a word.

I know people include code words to try to make people read your rules, but you can already tell if people read your rules or not, so there is no use for a code word anyways.

HeartBeat, I'm so with you. I AlWaYs forget stupid codewords. I also hate it when they have like, 30 rules, and half of them are the player just switching their code word. *sigh*

Rant 1:
Why do people have trade guardians/mascots?
If your not trading a pet then lock the group up no one cares about your guardians/mascots.

Umm... Because they want everyone to see you're pet? I don't see the problem with this.

I have a trade gaurdian, but its a common pet. I doubt anyone cares about me having it but she's just there for fun c:

I'm glad i'm not the only one with trade guardians, but my 4 are uncommon and very rare...

Sent a trade out to someone who had a Sunback they were willing to trade. The trade was auto-canceled so I see who got it and it is someone who already had two of them. Great. -.-

I understand wanting more than one/hoarding but when the pet is the only pet on CS that I actually want it bothers me. ._.
I'll I want is one Sunback and nothing more. .-.

Codewords are annoying, I don't like them and don't see a need for them. >.>
And then they cancel a trade which was fair plus had wishlist pets only because "You didn't put 'OMG I love cheese!' in your message." -3-

Ooh >.<', would that be me? >.<' Sorry about that Sachi if it is :3... I just love the Sunback design too much I've decided to try 'hoarding' them =x... I'll help you look around and get one if you'd like though :3

And about the whole code words deal, I agree with what was said earlier. You can basically tell if a person has read your rules, or has a relatively okay sense of rarities and similar things like that. I don't know why you need a codeword. It's a hassle and if someone accidentally misreads or misses it or just forgets to type it, the whole trade could go down the trade. Is that really worth it? =/
