Then put the mascots in a separate group and lock them up.
I don't really get whats the use of mascots anyways.

The 3th gen PPS from March. I had it. I made a new group for 3th gens (they used to sit in my 2th gens group). I forgot to lock it.

And I just realized that it was gone. I got a trade for it and, thinking that only my trade groups were open, accepted it without checking Yes, I'm officially stupid... I actually didn't notice that it was gone, until I started dressing up another dog and noticed that some items I had put on the PPS were suddenly back in the inventory
