Welcome to woodland equestrian centre, we are a large facility that has been in the family for generations. Originally a farm used for animal agriculture, it underwent a major change and slowly built its way up to the equestrian centre it is today. Due to their success, they have the money to offer a limited space of low cost or even free sponsorship's to gifted and talented riders, in exchange for yard work and partnerships at shows. The centre has 100 acres of pasture for mares and geldings and several 7 acre paddocks for stallions, all of which are equipped with field shelters, automatic water drinkers, and large hay bells. There is an additional 100 acres or trails and cross country routes.
The facility has 2 large indoor arenas, one for western games and reining, and one for dressage and indoor jumping, however bookings must be made in advance for jumping as it is primarily for dressage This arena is split into two sections, if the weather is unsuitable for jumping or if for training purposes, half will be allocated to show jumping. There are three outdoor arenas, one warm up and dressage, one for show jumping, and one for barrel racing.
There are stables with runs and horses. The are expected to be out for most or all of the day however stalls are there if wanted or needed. There is a large heated tack room with large walk in lockers and a small kitchen and storage for hay and shavings. Every horse is different so feed is expected to be bought by the owner.
Owners are allocated a cabin which is shared by 2 other people. they have a communal kitchen, dining, and living room. Each person has their own bedroom with draws, wardrobe, and en suite. Doors have locks but can be unlocked using a screwdriver, this is only to be done by staff in the case of an emergency.
There is a large car park that can fit many trailers in, this is the only area on site where smoking is permitted.

personality ; rhys struggles to create friendships due to his hard exterior but once you know him is is fiercely loyal and protective. he isn't really the guy to look at people and like them, they have to come and talk to him in order for him to gauge their personality and from then makes a decision. he can be a bit isolationist and flighty when it comes to interaction. he has ran away many times and quite often goes out on quiet trails with his bike to escape everything. he is very understanding when it comes to animals and will risk everything to help them. he is prone to angry outbursts but never lets it out on animals, people or inanimate objects are the ones who feel his wrath. his protective nature can lead to clingyness, though he doesn't ask to be around someone all the time, when they are out together he won't leave them alone, he will walk them to their front door and make sure they're safe. for the right person, he'll be the perfect key to their lock.
history ; he was raised in a seemingly perfect family with 3 other siblings, 1 a lot older, the other 2 much younger. he grew up in the suburbs and was always rescuing animals without his parent's permission, from online websites or off the side of the road. then he began researching horses when he saw some servery underweight horses on one of his first times running away. he got a job in order to buy them quality hay after reporting them to the authorities did nothing. he was arrested on many occasions for trespassing and this is what made him develop his already apparent anger issues. his record was no longer clean so he became rebellious and began shop lifting/petty theft, running away more, and underage drinking. he is now sober but still a familiar face in the station. he lost his job but was able to find another, nearly the same pay but nowhere near as enjoyable. with this money he began to train horses, not too much but he knew the basics, but he seemed to have a good connection with them. Somehow he ended up coming to a stables to work with his horses further and be sponsered for shows ect.

history ; she was born in the spain and went into high end riding school cut and was transported to america by a rich man who thought that money meant knowledge. estrella began to become stubborn and rude due to her bad training and harsh methods. she was sold for a bottom dollar price and was bought by rhys before he trained her up to become an excellent horse, at least around him.
speciality ; she is particularly good at eventing but most notably show jumping and dressage. her elegance and speed make her a dream to ride and watch. she goes to the race track occasionally and can go quite fast. overall she is a good horse, she is a great horse on a hackamore due to past abuse with harsh bits.

personality ; james is a hard working and quirky character. he is a big flirt when it comes to girl, it seems to be his way to make him believe the lies he tells other about his sexuality. either way he is a heartthrob, and always has been. he is a friendly character and loves to talk to other however if he is in a mood he can be quite quick to speak his mind and regret it. he doesn't really hold grudges unless it is something either personal or important to him. despirte his outwardly positive and funny nature, behind closed doors he is a depressed and struggling young man who needs to learn to accept himself.
history ; he was raised on a ranch and was always the favourite son. it was a cattle ranch and the only times he has ever ridden horses was during roundups, and even then it was a quite, kick to go fast, pull to go slow.
due to many financial struggles at the ranch due to competition with industrialised animal agriculture, his family were struggling to keep the ranch. he has had with the few mules and horses on their ranch, he decided to seek a job elsewhere and send some money over to help relieve some of the pressure on his family. he has been a stable hand on the yard for about a year now and lives in a room beside the hayloft of one of the stable blocks. this means that he is close to any emergencies that may happen. As for showers, bathroom ect, he has to walk up to the main cottage where Sadie and the rest of the Woodland family live, but by now,
they are as close as anything. all this time he hasn't been involved in riding but that may change soon....
