Hawthorne looked over her injury, his expression darkening. He gently let her hand go, " Hold on, there's bandages somewhere around here. I'll get you fixed up." He looked at her, his eyes softening a bit. " I wasn't going to just leave you alone. You were screaming." Hawthorne swallowed hard, making his expression go blank. He didn't want to show his true feelings. Hawthorne walked over to the guest bathroom and found a first aid kit. " I'm no healer, but I've been bandaging my soldiers wounds for a long time. If you want, I can bandage that for you. But, if you're not comfortable with that I understand." He said, setting the kit on the bed.

Arkady offered her hand to Hawthorne and looked at him. ”I trust you not to mess it up.” She smiled lightly and crossed her legs. Still in the silky blue shorts and white top, she had goosebumps all over her legs and arms from the open windows. ”Why did you bring your sword?” Her gaze fell upon the blade before looking back at Hawthorne. She could feel her heart racing not from only from the nightmare but from the sight of the weapon as well. Why did he feel the need to bring his sword? She wasn’t afraid of him, just curious.

Oliver | Palace

Ollie was surprised Soren hadn't arrived back home even after he'd took his time going through his variety of weapons. He played with a couple of rapiers, at least until he knocked over some stuff from Soren's dresser. Whistling innocently, he'd messily put back everything he touched and exited the room in a rush. He'd have to practice his lying skills should Soren ever ask if he'd been in his room.
Wearily walking towards his own room, he'd raised an eyebrow at several guards out of thier post. They were weary and most of all confused and when Oliver had asked what's up. They simply replied that they'd heard a yell from one the guest rooms but Hawthrone seemed to be taking care of it. "Hmph" Ollie hummed, not sure how he had missed the yell. He'd probably been too caught up in his thoughts. "At ease" he laughed softly, "You guys look a little stiff. Relax. Hawthrone is here so should anything happen with the uh, guest, I'm sure he'll fix it"
With a sudden rush of energy, he'd volunteered a guard to help him with his sword skills and practically dragged them to the training room. Sleep wouldn't come easy knowing he needed to have a talk with Hawthrone and the idea that his siblings were out this late in the Aboveworld, so he'd practice swinging a sword until they did come home.

" I'm honored," Hawthorne chuckled warmly. Though he was teasing, he was glad that Arkady trusted him more. He gently took her hand in his strong, rough ones. Then, he carefully cleaned and bandaged her hands. The captain's touch was surprisingly gentle. It appeared he knew what he was doing and was confident in his work. Completely focused on trying not to hurt her further, he almost didn't hear her question. " Hmm? " Hawthorne said, looking over," Oh, the sword? I brought it because I was afraid you had been attacked." He admitted sheepishly," Though, bringing I mostly bring it with me out of habit, I suppose ". Hawthorne finished bandaging her hands and set the bandages and things back in the first aid kit. Looking over Arkady, he noticed her shivering. So, he went over and shut the windows, remarking dimly," It's a bit chilly in here, isn't it? Do you need an extra blanket?"

Basil jumped a bit at their younger sister's sudden appearance. She hadn't been expecting Alexandria to be out this late and worse, in the Aboveworld. Tugging on her bangs, she asked quietly," What are you doing out here? ". Basil said, shaking her head," No.. no you don't have to leave." She cast a glance at Donnie and Spencer before continuing," You didn't interrupt anything.... we're trying to stop the forest fire..."

Juniper was relieved that Leo and Aurora seemed okay. He owed a great deal to them for saving his life. Juniper nodded, turning his attention to Arkady" The rest of camp needs to know about this". He agreed, coughing. He wiped at his mouth, staring at the dark red blood on his hand worriedly. " I'm... i'm okay. I think I can walk." The scout hoped that he was right. He wiped his hand off on his pants and shakily stood. But, Juniper's knees almost buckled beneath him. His head spun dizzily, but he was standing at least. Juniper instinctivly reached out for Aurora, afraid he was going to pass out or stumble again.

"Forest fire!?" Exclaims Alex. "So that's why there's so much smoke... What started it, do you know?" She asks, a worried frown shadowing her curious expression. What if Humans show up? Or even Howlers? Alex wonders, cautious excitement shining in her eyes. I could have the chance to actually see one! I wonder if they're so hideous and cruel as the stories say... Alex gives herself a shake, turning her attention back to Basil.

Donatello blinked, clearly speechless at the fact that Alexandria was here too. So not only were Soren and Basil skipping out on their duty but so was the youngest Royal. His anger flared but he decided not to rant about the fact that Alexandria was here. She was just a kid after all unlike Soren and Basil. "Absolutely wonderful" he muttered sarcastically, shaking his head. He put his focus back on thinking of a suitable plan to put the fire out before he lost his cool. "It doesn't matter who started it. Only that it gets put out" he grumbled sharply, his gaze turning to Basil "You two were the ones crying about putting it out what was your plan? It's dang near impossible so I hope you do have some sort of plan"

Basil shrank back from her sister and Donatello's stares. She hated being put on the spot. It always made her mind go blank and made her panic. Earlier, she had no trouble explaining her plan to Soren. But, the princess couldn't speak in front of even a small crowd like this. Basil fumbled to find suitable words, but she was too flustered to think straight. " I don't... I don't know." She said quietly, her voice barely a shy whisper. Basil looked away, knowing Donatello was going to speak harshly and rather rudely to them. She couldn't speak up for herself and her siblings, so Basil knew he was just going to mock them and there was nothing she could do about it.

Alex watches her sister, concern clear in her eyes. But despite this, she moves away, trying to take some of the attention off of Basil. "Would my Telekinesis help?" Alex asks, looking mainly at Don. "I could probably use it to create a bit of a trench to separate the fire from other parts of the forest," she continues, biting her lip when she's finished. She knows Don doesn't exactly like her, yet she still wants him to let her help.
