Ah, well, back then, we didn't have kings or queens, we either had leaders or commanders, when Zarak finally gave in to the darkness inside of him, he created an army that threatened the freedom of every living creature, however, hope seemed highly unlikely, due to the fact that there were only a few soldiers willing to face him, me being one of them, time and time again our claws clashed, and throughout this time I rose amongst the ranks, until one day our leader perished at the hands of Zarak, making me the only high ranked soldier left, and placing me as the new leader of what remained of our rebellion, just before the final battle, I met your mother once more, by then we had grown a close bond, and only at the possibility of death did I have the courage to finally ask her if she wished to be mine, and in turn, if she wanted me to be hers, that night, we vowed to support one another and be there for each other until our dying breath, so when the final hour before the great battle grew near, I made a promise to your mother that if we were to survive, that not only will I come back to her in one peace, but that I would also bring about a new era where we could protect one another equally, when the battle did come about, it was neither one of glory or one that should be forgotten, Zarak was a worthy opponent, and it took all of my strength to defeat him, thus, began a new age, one where our military society changed into one of equality and peace, where we finally became a kingdom, one that was worthy of peace and not war, where we could protect each other, and avoid causing unnecessary conflict, but along with this new age, came the discovery of kings and queens, and since I was the leader of our army, I then became the leader of our kingdom, with your mother ruling at my side to help guide me when I need her advice the most, no doubt there are other kingdoms and societies out there somewhere, we just haven't yet found or met them", he explained.

Nezula couldn't help but smile as she listened to her father's tale of the past. It made her understand a little more about her parents lives before her time,"I like that tale." She said with a smile before a sudden realization made her slightly frowned when she thought about the way her parents became royals, while she was born a royal from the start.

Nezula slowly lifted her eyes to look at him,"But, as a princess, isn't it my duty, when something happens to you, Mom, and even Arazmun, to continue on the rule and take charge?" She asked.

Yes, but that will be a long time away from now, so focus on the present, and don't let these fears and concerns get to you, your still young and your journey has only started, look at me, I'm a king but also both a father and the leader of an army, we can be many things and still be a leader, and no matter on what you choose to do with your life, you'll always have us to turn to if you ever need guidance, or just need support", he replied.

Nezula listened carefully before a smile slowly came to her face,"So, say, I wanted to do some traveling, to learn more from experience and what I want to do with my life, you'll let me?" She asked, knowing she was probably being a little too hopeful at this point, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Nez........ how about this, we'll wait till your old enough to both go travelling on your own, as well as knowing on how to defend yourself, and then we'll see on letting you go?", he replied.

Nezula huffed a little before sighing with a little,"Alright, I guess so." She said softly before thinking,"Even if I were to bring a few close friends with me?" She asked and then added,"And how old is old enough? Did your parents tell you this too?" She wondered.
