welcome to the discussion thread for long live the king! we ask that you be respectful to everyone and that you follow the rules.

at the moment, im looking for a moderator. mods can reject/accept forms, provide recaps, and give warnings. however, before i choose a moderator, they have to be a part of the roleplay. meaning, you must have at least one character to qualify for this position.

not only will there be ooc and character forms on this thread, there will be recaps, announcements, and various other things, so keep an eye out for that !!

when making your wolf, please keep in mind to keep everything realistic as this is a survival-based roleplay.

please, no unusual coat colors, eye colors, or unusual markings such as wings, horns, etc. wolves don't have purple fur and purple eyes in the wild.

another thing is, don't overpower your wolf. they should have strengths, yes, but they should have weaknesses too. by keeping things realistic, your wolf can't take down a fully grown deer in minutes, and often they'll tire or be injured by antlers or hooves. almost no wolf comes away from that without a scratch or injury.

another thing is, wolves are not invincible like i stated above. wolves will die and age, that's just the circle of life. and heyre definitely not immortal. when one of your wolves die (the eldest i will allow a wolf to live in this roleplay is 35 years) feel free to make another to take its place. eventually, you'll have to kill off your wolf one way or another to keep things fresh & realistic.

newton was born to king akheela and queen rey, the only living heir of the
leaders of the hangyukaa-sha. his birth was successful and he was healthy
and strong with no deformities. he grew up to be even stronger and at the
age of two his mother was with pups during the spring. she gave birth to o
ne, a small female they named horus. almost immediately, newton vowed
he would be the best big brother who would protect her no matter what.
hours after her birth, horus passed away in her sleep, and weeks later aft
er grieving, never sleeping or moving and never eating, rey passed away t
oo. overcome with despair and self-loathing akheela reatreated into hims
elf, and he became vicious and violent due to his broken heart. he exiled
four year old newton into the wild on his own, where he was taken in by t
wo older wolves, fenwyr and alaria, where the rebellion was born. he has
been their leader ever since and leads them with justice and strength.

newton's never-ending kindness has helped him go a long way in his life. it
attracts those who have good, pure hearts like he does, which is what the
rebellion is made of. he is extremely intelligent but his stubbornness can
make him blind, at times, and he is brave and incredibly strong. he is you
nger than most, which can make him foolish, but he has a clear, level head.
