sooo, I'm a guest artist for a bit and that means I get to make some designs over this next month. This kid is one of my common designs.

For this competition,I want you to tell me about a journey they've been on. You can use either up to 500 words or 1 piece of art. You are allowed 2 extras, either 200 words each or 1 piece of art each. You may use these extras to expand on the prompt.

Their Journey: Chenzira once were lost in the hot and sandy Sahara desert in africa, After accidently traveling to the wrong area he decided to go thru the sahara desert anyways.
He nearly gave up a few times but kept going and going, before finally reaching his goal.

Walking among the tall giants known as trees, you find a section of the forest you don't happen to be familiar with. Your sudden burst of curiosity overcame any fear or doubts, and you had decided to enter, leaving behind your personal safe zone. As you fearlessly walk through the forest, you soon found many species of animals you happened to be unfamiliar with. Some large, others small, but you continued walking until you stumbled upon a makeshift cabin, looking rather small.
Pushing through your worries, you opened the door, met with a loud creeeeeeeeeaakakkk! Feeling bad for the door's screams of agony, you decided to leave it alone. "Junior! Is that you?" A ragged voice called from the inside.

"No. I'm not Junior.. Who are you?" You call back. "What about one of those kids from down the street? They don't leave me alone askin' for stories..WAIT! I've got it, you want a story don't you?" The voice says back, and you hear cries of help (otherwise known as creaks) from the floorboards below as you see a bird-like species approach. "Sit down, kid. I don't have all day!" The voice snaps, and you quickly sit yourself down on the rug placed conveniently below you. "Let me tell you about an adventure from our antarctic days!" She says with a gleam in her eye. You smile, this sounded fun already. "I've never been to Antarctica." You say, but she shushes you with a few flaps of her wing in your face.

"Back in the days where we Chirbits lived in Antarcticer' adventure was everywhere! It was rather cold, yes, but we were full of spirit wantin' to explore. That of course is when we were found out about' ya see? Anyways. There was always this huge glacier I wanted to explore, but a trip up there was considered impossible. The weather conditions were never 'nice' in Antarcticer' for climbin' and such, so we had to give up most of the time. However, my young self was determined ter climb that very glacier. I said my goodbyes, and fare-the-wells to my pals back home and left on my adventurin' . Those were the good ol' days." She marvels at the thought, and you quickly interject.

"Well, how did you get here? Didn't you climb that glacier?" You ask, and she yawns, before quickly snapping back to life. "Ah, yea! I climbed that dern' glacier after many attempts. Hundreds, thousands maybe. It took a bit. Once I finally climbed that glacier, I saw a species similar to your kind. They were on some kinda big water vehicle, a 'boat' I think. They chased after' me to find my family, and I was sent on a ship to..Well, wherever this place is. Now, scat! I got sleep to catch up to!" She snaps out of her dream-like state, and shoos you out of the shack. "And don't come back!"

With little left to say, you knew that you'd come back next week.

Their Journey; Asteria's greatest journey was to the Land of Dreams. This was a wonderful world that one could only visit in their dreams if they achieved a certain level of dreaming and inner peace. Since the moment she'd heard about this wondrous dream land, she'd worked hard. She began by studying the Land of Dreams to figure out exactly: what was there, how to achieve it. Once she'd learned enough, she practiced using meditation sessions, calming exercises, and even difficult treks and flights up mountains, caves, canyons, and other natural wonders. Why did she never practice anything during her sleep? The truth was, it really had nothing to do with sleep. In a way, it did - when your dreams were troubled and chaotic, you were far from your goal. When dreams were calm and peaceful, the Land of Dreams was near. However, there were no exercises that could be done during sleeping.
One night after traveling through The Diamond Caves, a series of underground caves that were told to hold undiscovered creatures and dangerous traps, Asteria awoke in her dreams to find herself in the Land of Dreams. How did she know? Her research had revealed hints about what this place might look like, and she'd pieced them together to discover it herself. Authors of these scrolls and books that told about the Land of Dreams never could describe it well for others. The reason? The Land of Dreams appeared differently to everyone and could appear differently to anyone. The first appearance was always unique, one that reflected the dreamer's personality and inner feelings. Once the dreamer was adjusted to the environment, they could choose where they wanted to go and what they wanted to do. The Land of Dreams was, in a way, a story that the dreamer could write in their sleep. They could alter reality and control what occurred. However, users were always warned to be cautions when dreaming. They could make anything appear, from firebreathing dragons to poisonous basilisks. Creatures of myths and pure imagination could be spawned into the dreams, and they could harm or even kill the dreamer. Any beings created in the dreams were always pure fiction - existing in the Land of Dreams only - but their thoughts, actions, and words could not be controlled by the dreamer. Dreamers could always dream themselves into another place or make the threats disappear upon will, but if one wasn't aware of danger before it was too late, they would be killed - in their dreams and in real life.
Asteria was a clever chirbit - she was aware of the wonders and dangers alike of the Land of Dreams. In her dreams, she creates wonderful inventions and solutions to problems which she tests out. If they work well, she makes them happen in real life. She's invented items that can save other animals and she's come up with ideas that can end suffering.
The Land of Dreams was Asteria's place where she could begin changing the world for the better.
