➣ Hearing Quietstar call for a meeting, the grey tabby went and stopped just outside the medicine cat's den seeing that Bearpaw hurried to her side. "I'm very proud of you Bearpaw,you did very well protecting your clan." Wolfheart whispered into her apprentice's ear as she awaiting the news that Quietstar was going to say.As she waited she heard her mate ask her if she was alright as he groomed her pelt and pressed himself tightly against her. "I'm alright." She mewed quietly to Pearpelt trying not to interrupt the clan meeting.

Tumblespirit sat and listened, deciding Ashfrost should question the tom. He thought about what the loner had said.
I wonder if he's had a message froms Starclan? But how??

Whitewhisker glanced at the cats around him, still not seeing Peachwing. He listened to Quietstar before turning to Riverpool who sat close.
"Who do you think will be the new deputy?" He mewed, keeping his voice even, unsure who he'd want to be deputy.

Leap stared defiantly at the tom. "I was born a loner, from loner parents. My parents, Kink and Jall, died soon after I was born.
I don't follow territory boundaries and I have no idea what you mean by being exiled. I am not a spy!"
He glared at the tom as he circled him, he could see the untrust in the cats eyes.
"I'm not lying, and I was just running for my life and found myself here! The star-cats said....." He paused, unsure if he should continue.
He wouldn't mind joining the clan, in fact, he'd heard about another cat that had been around not that long ago that had joined this clan.... What was his name? Kipp!
"Is Kipp here?"

Ashfrost narrowed his eyes in confusion, "I don't believe you. And we don't have any loners-" He paused, wait a minute, Kipp... He remembered back many moons ago Whitewhisker had a similar name when he joined the clan didn't he?

"...Describe this cat." He ordered, he wasn't going to give him any hints incase Leap was lying, but doubt clouded his thoughts now.

He nodded but continued to look over her body, silent except for a soft purr in his chest as he groomed Wolfheart for a few more moments. He kept one ear angled towards Quietstar.

☞BEARPAW felt both a mixture of anticipation and jealousy in the pit of his stomach when Quietstar introduced the topic of the next meeting. Why couldn't he be old enough to contend for the role of deputy already? Still, he was curious to find out who among them his leader had deemed appropriate to be at her right side. The apprentice had a few of his own candidates in mind, though he'd keep those to himself for now. As he sat, he felt a soft puff of air draw closer to him, his mentor's soft voice in his ear causing his ears to twitch. Nodding silently in affirmation as to not interrupt their leader, the young and brawny tom swelled with pride. Now for a chance at some training. Turning to face the couple seated just behind him, Bearpaw ducked his head in greeting. "Should we join one of the patrols or do battle practice?" The warrior-to-be did an excellent job hiding the giddiness in his voice. He was practically itching to get to work.

Ashfrost sighed and nodded, "Yes, I suppose I'll believe you're not a spy or spawn of any traitors then. Don't think for a second though I'll believe this whole 'stumbling into an enemy camp with a dog on my heels' nonsense though!" He snapped before having another thought.

"Tumblespirit, can you please go fetch Whitewhisker? He'll know if this mange has any psychotic genocide wish or not." Ashfrost said in a noticeably lighter tone then the one he used with Leap, almost as if he was tempting the loner to attack him and prove him right by insulting him.

Tumblespirit glanced up at Ashfrost as he asked and he nodded, "Sure." Getting to his paws he padded out of the den.
Spotting Whitewhisker next to Riverpool, he headed towards them. He dipped his head.
"Whitewhisker, can you come with me to the medicine den?"

Whitewhisker nodded and got to his paws, following Tumblespirit to the medicine den.
"Is everything okay Tumblespirit?"
Tumblespirit nodded and led the way into the den.

Leap was about to make a hiss back at the cat, Ashfrost, when Tumblespirit came into the den, followed by..... Kipp!!
"Kipp! It's you!"
Surprise dawned on the creamy tom's face.
"Leap?"

Ashfrost's face curled slightly distaste, "You know this tom then, Whitewhisker?" He asked for confirmation. There was faint disapproval in his voice but he didn't seem to take an aggressive tone to his clanmate unlike with the loner.

"I was attacked by the dog and I accidentally ran into your camp, but Kipp, what's this about you being Whitewhisker?"
He glanced at Tumblespirit, then back at Ashfrost. "Why do you all have such strange names?"
He winced in pain as his neck started throbbing again.
