Nessa smiled big, like someone just gave her a great compliment.

"Thank you!" She exclaimed proudly. "My grandpa thinks so, too. He said; "Good job, Ness! Be creative!"

"Your grandfather approved of that?" Asked Adam, shocked. "That's a bad example! Nessa, how many times have I told you to stay out of trouble? How are ever going to get a decent job always breaking rules? You have to behave!" He scolded her like an adult might scold a child.

"Yes, mom." She replied in mock-obedience.

Remus let out a soft chuckle.
"Any more jokes that you've played and kept quiet about?"He smiled,looking more aged than he usually did.
"Your friend has a fair point but still,your jokes are some of the best."Remus added,"Even better than some of mine and my fellow marauders' I'd say."

"You think some of my pranks are better than yours? Really?! Wow! I feel so honored! You've pulled more than me, though; It's hard to get away with stuff with Captain Responsible over here."

"Hey!" Adam exclaimed. "I keep you from getting expelled!"

"Yeah," Nessa agreed. "You also steal my candy."

"Do you not remember what happened last time you ate this stuff?" He waved the Aero bar. "Detention for three weeks! You should have heard what the other Ravenclaws were saying! I thought I was going to die of embarrassment!"

Nessa rolled her eyes. Then Adam remembered he had not yet introduced himself;

"I'm Adam Jeffery, by the way. You're a year older than us, right? Nice to meet you."

"Yeah,I'm in fourth year now."Remus nodded,"Nice to meet you too Adam.I'm Remus Lupin." He turned to Nessa and smiled,"That snow-bomb prank was a classic.And the Marauders and I have a way of knowing when and where we can cause trouble."His voice had a hint of mischeif in it as he said this. Glancing at a large clock in the station,Remus shook his head as he sighed,"We'd best get through the barrier and onto the platform if we want to get on the train before it leaves."

"Oh!" Nessa exclaimed, eyes widening. "You're right! Can we sit with you?"

"Sure."Remus smiled,"I'm sure James and Sirius won't mind."

"Thank you." Adam nodded politely as he and Nessa began to board the train.

"Bye grandpa!" Nessa yelled from the window over the sound of the engine picking up. "Nos vemos en Navidad! ¡Te quiero!"

From in the crowd, an elderly man yelled back in also Spanish;

"Buena suerte, Nessa! Te amo, también!"

"My grandpa's Latino." She explained, grinning.

"Yeah, I've noticed." Adam said. "You yell in Spanish when you're mad."

"I do?" Nessa blushed. "Oh, I didn't realize."

James nodded to Sirius' remark and then zoned out, thinking of a certain redbreast girl. Maybe this year he could finally get her to go on a date with him. James didn't resurface until they were talking about boarding the train. "huh? Oh, yeah, we should board the train."

"Sirius,James!"Remus called to his friends,"Train's about to leave."He smiled at the pair as he also boarded the train.
"The compartments at the back should be empty."He smiled calmly.

"C'mon James!"Sirius grinned in his playful manner.Running onto the train with his luggage, Sirius smiled to Remus;
"Are they sitting eith us?"

"Yes."Remus smiled wryly,"Whether you or James have objections or not."

"Oh, hi." Said Nessa, realizing that James and Sirius had been snapped out of their daydreams and were now with them.

"Good to see you've returned to reality." She smirked. "I'm Nessa."
